Dr. Kalaichelvi’s follow‑up and review of treatment have been disappointing in recent visits. She did not seem concerned about the side effects being experienced and was not receptive to what the patient wanted to share.Although the initial treatment was done at Dr. Rai Memorial, we decided to move to another hospital because of what felt like a lethargic attitude and lack of attentive listening from her side. We are now consulting a different doctor who listens carefully and plans treatment in line with the patient’s concerns.For doctors, each patient may be just one among many, but for us, the doctor is often our only hope, and we travel from different cities and districts with that trust. When a doctor does not listen to our pain, collects a fee of 1000 even without a proper receipt, and seems focused only on the consultation charge, it becomes difficult to continue with such care.This is not a recommendation or suggestion to others but simply my personal experience and feedback about the service. Dr. Rai is very good for consulting.

The hospital is on the main road with the dedicated parking slot. It's a very old building because the lift is very slow and the staircase is so narrow. Pro : The ward rooms are very small and not well maintained. There are so many mosquito. The staff are very rude and not answering any query. The fees and admission is moderate but testing blood is very costly. Con : The payment method is worst. They have only cash option. The parking is always full.. I recently accompanied my friend for their cancer treatment, and it was quite an eye-opening experience. From the moment we arrived at the treatment center, I could see the level of care and compassion they provided. The staff was welcoming and took the time to explain each step of the process, which helped ease a lot of anxiety. The treatment itself was tough, but the environment was surprisingly calm and supportive. They offered refreshments and had cozy waiting areas with comfortable seating. I noticed that many patients were chatting and finding comfort in each other, which created a sense of community. My friend’s medical team was incredibly attentive, checking in frequently to see how they were handling everything. They took time to answer questions and genuinely cared about my friend's emotional well-being as much as the physical aspects of treatment. It made a huge difference to see how dedicated they were. I believe what stood out most was how they focused on not just the treatment but also on helping patients stay positive. There were support groups and counseling available, which really seemed to help my friend. Overall, though cancer treatment is never easy, the kindness and professionalism shown made a challenging situation more bearable. If anyone is facing something similar, I encourage you to lean on the support around you; it can make all the difference.
