Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with the billing and refund process at this hospital. After my treatment, I was required to pay ₹30,950 from my own pocket based on the initial cashless authorization issued by Star Health and Allied Insurance. After discharge, the insurer issued a reconsideration letter which revised the admissible amount to ₹17,579. This clearly meant the hospital had to refund the difference of ₹13,371 to me. Both the hospital billing department and Star Health representatives repeatedly confirmed that the refund amount payable to me was ₹13,371. However, despite these confirmations, the hospital kept delaying the refund for more than 1.5 months, forcing me to constantly follow up since 17 January. After all this delay and repeated assurances, the hospital finally processed a refund but credited only ₹8,871, which is ₹4,500 less than the confirmed amount. Even more concerning is that no clear explanation or accountability has been provided for this shortfall. The level of irresponsibility, lack of transparency, and disregard for patients’ time and money is shocking. Patients should not have to chase hospitals for weeks just to get back the money that rightfully belongs to them. This entire experience reflects very poor billing practices and extremely unprofessional handling of patient refunds. I am now forced to escalate this matter through formal grievance channels and regulatory authorities. Anyone considering this hospital should be extremely careful with billing and refund matters and make sure to keep every document and record.

We are extremely grateful to Dr. Arpita Agrawal for the successful cataract surgery of my mother at Apollo Hospital. Before the procedure, she had unclear vision in her left eye, which was affecting her daily life. After the surgery, her vision improved remarkably to a clear 6/6. Dr. Arpita was very professional, confident, and supportive throughout the entire process. She explained everything clearly and ensured we were comfortable at every step. The hospital staff and overall services were also excellent. The team was caring, well-organized, and made the entire experience smooth and comfortable for us. We truly appreciate the care and highly recommend Dr. Arpita Agrawal and Apollo Hospital for cataract treatment.

I visited Anandam ( Apollo Sage Maternity unit) in my 5th month after we found about some would be future complications in the pregnancy. I delivered safely via c section my baby girl and this is my experience of the last few months. 1. Main Doctor- We visited Doc Anupa Walia ma'am and she explained everything to us in detail on our first visit. I was also confident in my emergency c-section operation because she was the one doing it. She has this aura of confidence about her. 2. Support Staff- Yes the main doc is important for a positive birth story but in my opinion the support staff( nurses, admin staff, OT staff) were really valuable. I had amazing nurses like Miss Seema, who spent loads of sleepness night beside me. She taught me how to help baby in latching, burping and soothing her. She also was delegent in reminding me to feed every 2-3 hrs in night. During the operation the Anesthetist ( Doc Tejaswini) tried shooting me by calming questions and other staff in OT were quite helpful too. Even the admin staff during our regular visit are super friendly. 3. Extra perks like providing home drop via BMW after our discharge and celebratory cake cutting were fun additions too. I am really thankful for our baby girl and that she is safely delivered to us.
