India has 2,749 CGHS empanelled healthcare facilities as of 2026: 1549 hospitals, 531 eye centres, 256 diagnostic centres, and 413 dental clinics. Of these, 1,320 (48%) hold NABH accreditation, the national quality standard set by the Quality Council of India. They operate across 25 states and union territories and 95 cities.
Uttar Pradesh has the most empanelled facilities (531), followed by Delhi (483) and Maharashtra (419).
