India has 2,724 CGHS empanelled healthcare facilities as of 2026: 1525 hospitals, 529 eye centres, 256 diagnostic centres, and 414 dental clinics. Of these, 1,376 (51%) hold NABH accreditation, the national quality standard set by the Quality Council of India. They operate across 26 states and union territories and 97 cities.
Uttar Pradesh has the most empanelled facilities (525), followed by Delhi (485) and Maharashtra (412).
