I underwent my radiation therapy at this hospital, and my overall experience with the Radiation Department was very good. The department is well managed, and the staff there are supportive, helpful, and kind. I felt comfortable and well taken care of during my radiation treatment. However, my experience with the Medical Oncology consultation after completing radiation was not very pleasant. I had an appointment at 9:00 AM and was given number 17 on the list, but I was able to meet the doctor only around 4:30 PM. Due to the limited number of doctors or management issues, the waiting time was extremely long. As a patient, especially after cancer treatment, long waiting hours are physically and emotionally exhausting. I personally feel that doctors in the Medical Oncology department could be more empathetic and humane in their approach. A little more sympathy and understanding toward patients would make a big difference. Overall, the Radiation Department deserves appreciation, but there is definitely room for improvement in patient management and doctor–patient interaction in Medical Oncology.

Today 13th February 2026 I am writing this after having a terrible experience in this hospital. This is just a name for cancer but I believe the staff and the doctors are not capable enough to treat a simple fever. It is just a money making building in the name of cancer treatment. I have lost my sister who was getting treated from January 2025 and after giving 10th chemotherapy they were not able to save my sister. Also observed very rude behaviour with the patient which I have seen in the hospital in the ICU and that too happened since the nurse was not aware that I was the attendee for my sister. Now I realised that it was a big mistake from us to visit this hospital and took a wrong decision to get the treatment done here. No proper management, no skilled nurse, no skilled doctors, nothing it is completely hopeless hospital I have seen. They just play with the patient and with their emotions. I strongly recommend no one should visit this hospital instead if possible go outside.

State of the art infrastructure, abundance of space, easy to find location, modern amenities are some of the attributes for a first time visitor. Can't comment on anything regarding the quality of treatment it offers at this moment. But overall any patients from upper Assam areas may have cancer treatment right here.

Yesterday i had went to this cancer centre for my Father’s PETCT scan. They said patient shouldn’t eat drink anything. One patient without eat anything stayed upto 2pm. They are not having any proper response.very slow nurses stuff. Not having proper management. Management department is worst. Behaviour is worst. I will not recommend anyone to visit this hospital.
