Very disappointing experience. Even patients are charged parking fees when visiting the hospital, which feels unfair during a medical emergency. The Yellow Emergency area had only one doctor and one nurse attending all the patients, leading to long waiting times and raising concerns about the quality of emergency care. I hope the hospital improves its emergency staffing and reconsiders its parking charges for patients.

Dear JSS Hospital Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with my experience at JSS Hospital while my doddamma has been admitted to the SICU. The medical team may be doing their best, but as patient attendants, we feel helpless and poorly informed. Doctors visit the SICU only once a day and then explain the condition of all patients to their respective families after completing the entire round. It is difficult for families to feel reassured when communication is so limited. The visiting policy is also very restrictive. Only two attendants are allowed to visit between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM, and at all other times, even close family members are not allowed beyond the ground floor. We understand the importance of infection control and patient safety, but there should also be compassion and better communication for families of critically ill patients. I sincerely request the hospital administration to review these policies and improve communication with patient attendants. A few positive changes can make a huge difference to families during such difficult times. This has been a very painful experience for us, and I truly hope no other family has to feel the same way. Above all, I pray for my doddamma's speedy recovery. I hope she recovers completely, returns home safely, and never has to be admitted to any hospital again. Thank you for taking this feedback seriously.

My wife met with an accident while she was pregnant. Her shin bone was fractured and required surgery with rod fixation. The surgery was successfully performed by Dr. Sheshgiri Sir and his team, and thankfully both my wife and baby are safe. Dr. Sheshgiri is a genuinely humble and caring doctor. He explains everything clearly, speaks respectfully with patients, and motivates them throughout the recovery process. His confidence and support gave us great reassurance during a very difficult time. In the Orthopaedic Ward, Sister Sahana deserves special appreciation. She was extremely caring, professional, and attentive. She treated patients with kindness, ensured comfort, and was always ready to help. Her dedication and support are truly appreciated. Among all the staff, she stood out for her exceptional care and compassion. There are a few areas that could be improved. The discharge process takes too long, often resulting in an entire day being wasted. Responses from doctors for pain management and other concerns can sometimes be delayed. Additionally, the cleaning staff occasionally hesitate to empty urine bags, which should be addressed to improve patient care. Overall, we are grateful to Dr. Sheshgiri Sir, Sister Sahana, and the team for the successful treatment and care provided to my wife and unborn baby..

We are extremely thankful to the CCM (Critical Care Medicine) department for the excellent care given to my father during his treatment for a severe lung infection. Special thanks to HOD Dr. Akshay for his expert guidance and continuous support throughout the ICU stay. We are also very grateful to Dr. Sahana KV, who took personal care, monitored him closely, and ensured timely treatment at every stage. The entire ICU team, nurses, and staff were very supportive and responsive. Because of their dedication, my father recovered well and got discharged safely. Highly recommended hospital and CCM team.
