Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences Hospital

Recently, I visited this hospital for my brother-in-law’s treatment. He was admitted on an emergency basis due to uncontrolled diabetes and a bilateral lung infection. Dr. K. Kiran Kumar (MD, General Medicine) and his team handled the case. The doctor clearly explained the patient’s condition and advised immediate admission to the Stepdown ICU. Treatment was started with mild antibiotics, continuous insulin therapy, and general oxygen support. As there was no significant improvement initially, the team escalated the treatment by administering stronger antibiotics and antivirals, along with continuous insulin therapy. After seven days, the patient showed improvement and was shifted to a special room for observation. Two days later, as his condition stabilized, he was discharged. The doctor prescribed medications, advised serum and urine tests, and recommended a follow-up visit to the OP department after seven days. In my opinion, the doctors strictly followed proper treatment protocols and guidelines, and the results were positive. The nursing staff also provided good care and support throughout the stay. This hospital is a good option for middle-class families who may not prefer government hospitals but also cannot afford the high costs of corporate hospitals. Like any hospital, there may be minor service-related issues—I did experience a few small ones—but they are negligible compared to the quality of medical treatment provided. Overall, we are satisfied with the care and treatment received.

I am giving this 5 star review because after my negative review there are changed lot and sisters are worked hard but main issue is not only on a single sister because there are 2 sisters one is doing all patients work and other one mostly working with remarks and writing the remarks in the reports. I think adding other sister is better in general work and the lab workers are lazy there not sending reports within time which making delay and the radiology person is also a issue. I am very satisfied after the review i have send their helped a lot not only me but all the patients in the general word this is main reason i am giving this review.

Your professionalism, patience, and skill made the entire process much more comfortable than I expected. I truly appreciate your dedication and the excellent treatment you provided.

*This is the worst hospital I have ever seen. There is absolutely no respect for attenders or patients. The staff behave in a very commercial manner, focusing only on money instead of patient care*. *Even the basic items that doctors should use during treatment are being added to the patient’s tablet list. When we asked about this, the staff simply said, “This is not a government hospital.” That is not a proper response. Patients should not be charged for things that doctors are supposed to use, such as gloves and masks*. *Even for small health issues, they prescribe many unnecessary tests and charge heavily. It feels like they first attract the public by saying everything is affordable and available, but once people get used to coming here, they start charging very high amounts*. *Very disappointed with the service and management. Recently had normal delivery under Dr. Ramani Mam in MAMS hospital. The experience was too good with the hospital staff and with Dr.Ramani Mam. Before we have visited so many hospitals and dr's but we are not satisfied with the dr explanation. Same way we have visited Dr Ramani Mam. From day one receiving and explanation was too good and polite. We recommend to please consult with dr Ramani Mam 100% you will get best experience.
