1,867 on GoogleExcellent care and service at Smita Memorial Hospital and Research Centre. My mother, Mrs. Anie Sabu, underwent a total laparoscopic hysterectomy under the expert guidance of Dr. Shiny Daniel, and we are truly grateful for the support she received. Dr. Shiny Daniel was very kind, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process. The nursing staff and all the team members were cooperative, attentive, and caring, which made her hospital stay comfortable and stress-free. My mother is very happy with the treatment and recovery. We sincerely thank the doctor and the whole team, and we highly recommend this hospital for gynaecology care.
I had a very good experience at Smita Hospital. The treatment and care provided were excellent. A special thanks to Dr. Kenfine for the kind and professional approach throughout my treatment. The nursing staff on the 6th Floor, B Wing, were extremely friendly, caring, and supportive. They were always attentive and made me feel comfortable during my stay. Overall, I’m truly grateful for the care and compassion shown by the entire team.
In January 2026, my father was admitted with just fever and cold symptoms. He was immediately taken to the ICU and we were told he required oxygen support. However, the very next day the doctor confirmed that he was completely fine and had no breathing issues. Despite this, they refused to shift him out of the ICU. Only after repeated insistence did they agree to move him to a regular room. The discharge was also deliberately delayed. We were pressured to arrange ambulance transport and even a home oxygen setup, which felt completely unnecessary and seemed like an attempt to increase the bill. For just 3 days, we were charged ₹94,000 — mostly for questionable ICU expenses. Surprisingly, the bill even mentioned the use of 130 gloves in 3 days. This clearly felt like overbilling and money extraction rather than genuine patient care. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. It does not appear that patient care is the primary focus here. Instead, the emphasis seems to be on maximizing charges. I strongly urge others to carefully review all medical advice and billing details before proceeding with treatment at this hospital.
