My daughter and I had a dental appointment today with Dr. Susmita Biswas, and it was truly a lovely experience. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with such warmth and positivity that it instantly put us at ease. Her professionalism was evident throughout the entire session, and what stood out the most was her constant smile and reassuring presence. She handled everything with such care and patience, making the whole visit comfortable for both of us. It’s rare to come across someone who not only does their work so well but also spreads such genuine positivity. Our visit to her today truly made our day, and we’re very grateful for such a wonderful experience.

I was here in this with one of relatives. He had Cataract operation. He had the operation very nicely and all the supporting staff were very courteous , polite. The consultant is very nice and efficient. The Chairman is perfect gentleman and very sympathetic towards the patient. I am very pleased with all aspects of Hospital. Dr B. Sarkar.

My father had his first cataract aurgery in 2024 here under the guidance of Dr.Arunava Bandopadhyay and had absolutely no issues. With the similar trust we opted for the left eye surgery but this time under the guidance of a different doctor as Dr Bandopadhyay is not available on Saturdays. We went for the tests on November 1st and the doctor (name I do not want to mention) who gave us a clearance for OT. So on 8th November, my father had his cataract removal at 7:30am in the morning. The surgery got over at 8:30am and henceforth he complained of a terrible headache. We got him home. My father suffered a brain haemorrhage within 2 hours of the surgery. The internal bleeding inside the brain increased massively. By gods grace we were able to take him to INK where he was operated and put under ventilation for 5 days and remained in the ICU for 12 days. Even though my father is back home, he is not the same anymore. His memory has been affected. I want everyone to choose your doctor and services wisely. So that experiences like mine doesn’t cost a life.

I am writing to share my concern regarding the experience we had during my father’s cataract surgery at your hospital, which was referred by Dr. Doel Biswas. While the medical procedure itself was completed successfully, we were deeply disappointed with the behaviour of them while addressing our post-surgery queries. My father had just undergone surgery and was understandably anxious. Instead of patiently addressing his concerns and providing reassurance, they spoke in a rude and impatient manner, that too in front of the patient. We fully understand that hospitals handle a high volume of patients and they may be under pressure. However, it is equally important to understand that while doctors and medical professionals possess the required knowledge, patients and their families do not. Clear, calm, and polite communication is essential, especially after a surgical procedure. A little empathy and patience would go a long way in improving the patient experience. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively and necessary steps will be taken to ensure more compassionate communication with patients and their families in the future.
