When I went to URMI Eye Clinic, the consultant gave me excellent information, and I had never known so much information before. Information was also given in a very good way on how to take care of the eyes. Also, DR SHIRISH FEGADE conducted a very thorough examination before the cataract surgery and provided excellent information. Because the doctor explained everything very well, the patient did not feel any fear at all before the surgery. Overall, the staff is very helpful and responsible.
It was a wonderful experience at Urmi Eye Clinic. The entire staff is very friendly and supportive, and they helped us immensely during my father’s cataract surgeries. Both of his eyes were operated on here, and he has recovered very well and is now doing perfectly fine. The care and compassion shown by the team are truly outstanding. I had cataract surgery for my both eyes in Dec 2025 done at Urmi Eye Clinic in Badlapur. A very systematic and thorough professional approach prior to surgery followed by very well planned and explained surgery procedure. Surgery and post surgery procedures were done very smoothly. Very cooperative, knowledgeable, polite and most importantly flexible staff is the strength of Urmi Eye Clinic. By flexibility I mean every staff is rotated across various functions in the hospital which minimises the lead time. Dr. Fegade himself a very polite and knowledgeable surgeon explains everything in a very simple manner which is understandable to a common man. Sharvari Devi, spouse of the Doctor, who handles/looks after everything in the hospital except for the surgery is a very kind lady. She handles counselling of patients too wrt Mediclaim procedure and gives total information on the lenses to be used during surgery. Be sure there is no commercial approach at all while explaining the choice of lenses. (Another lady Ms Sanghmitra also does the counselling and administration). Actual surgery day experience was very smooth and hassle-free which i cannot express in words. Proper explanation is given to the patient and the attendant with him/her about care to be taken post surgery. Am grateful to Dr Fegade, Sharvari Devi and the entire staff for the joyous experience given to me during my Cataract Surgery.
