During the consultation, we were informed that surgery needed to be done as soon as possible because the cataract had matured, and that vision improvement could not be guaranteed depending on the condition of the optic nerve. We felt that the communication style was abrupt and focused mainly on urgency. Certain statements about possible internal complications if delayed caused significant anxiety to my mother and our family. While we understand that doctors must explain medical risks, we would have appreciated clearer, calmer, and more detailed communication. We are sharing this feedback purely based on our personal experience so that communication with patients can be improved
