It is one of the best hospital we have visited.My husband has undergone cataract surgery Yesterday.Very clean ,nicely maintained hospital with excellent staff .Dr Saumil is the best eye surgeon, very caring and skilled one. Excellent experience with Dr. Sonia Kothari – Highly recommended for Keratoconus I had a great experience with Dr. Sonia Kothari at Bombay Eye Institute. Initially, I was very confused about where to go for the treatment of Keratoconus, as I did not receive satisfactory answers from other hospitals. Dr. Sonia Kothari patiently and calmly explained everything in detail, addressed all our concerns, and clearly guided us through the treatment plan. Her experience, confidence, and clear explanation gave us a lot of comfort and trust. The treatment was started smoothly, and we are very satisfied with the care and guidance provided. We truly appreciate her professionalism and empathetic approach. We are very happy with the overall experience and would highly recommend Dr. Sonia Kothari to anyone dealing with Keratoconus or complex eye conditions.
I was really disappointed with my experience here. The whole process felt impersonal, more like a factory than a clinic. I was sent from one technician to another for different things with no clear direction or communication. At one point the staff at the clinic (not a doctor) checked my number and I was not even sure if they were certified to do so. One tech told me to have my eyes dilated, so I did — then sat there for an hour waiting, only to find out the main doctor had left for a scheduled surgery. They expected me to wait for 2.5 hours while he finished surgery after I had been there for hours already. Came in at 11 am finally left at 2 p.m. due to frustration. No consistent care from them and the main check up not even done after all of this LOL.
