Centre For Sight

Had an extremely poor experience at Centre for Sight. From the moment I walked in, it was a mess. The receptionist was rude and incompetent, and shockingly did not even have basic change to return after payment. There was no attempt to be helpful or professional. I was then made to sit on the first floor for over an hour during pupil dilation with no communication or updates. The wait felt careless and poorly managed. When I finally saw the doctor, the consultation felt rushed and heavily biased toward pushing LASIK, rather than an objective discussion based on my concerns or suitability. The facility itself is another issue. The place is dusty, poorly ventilated, and does not feel hygienic at all. For a hospital dealing with eye care, this is unacceptable. Overall, this place feels badly run, unprofessional, and unsafe. I genuinely do not understand how a centre like this is operating in its current condition. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I had my first appointment with Dr Ammeta Koul and was very impressed. She was extremely compassionate, patient, and attentive, taking the time to listen carefully and explain everything clearly. Her supportive and empathetic approach made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and understanding eye specialist.

I would have given Zero stars if I had the opportunity. Even though the doctors here are good, The management and handling of patients is utterly disastrous. They'll ask you to report atleast 15-20 minutes ahead of your appointment time. After the billing, average waiting time is minimum 1.5 hours before anyone even calls your name for any procedure.. Please think more than a 100 times if you are a senior citizen coming alone to this centre because one will have to wait for long hours even after taking a prior appointment. A simple eye check up turns into an ordeal of more than 3-4 hours due to these delays and mismanagement. God knows what even happens to people who walk in without any appointment.

I had my cataract surgery done by Dr (Wg Cdr) Sapana Raina, and the entire experience was outstanding. She is highly skilled, very professional, and extremely caring. She explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. The surgery was smooth, recovery has been excellent, and my vision is better than I expected. Highly recommended for anyone needing cataract care.
