Centre for Sight-Patna ( A Unit of New Delhi Centre for Sight Ltd)

I truly believe it is one of the best hospitals in Patna. The doctors, nurses, and support staff were very professional, caring, and supportive throughout my treatment. I am grateful for the quality of care and attention I received. However, I would like to highlight one concern regarding the cost of treatment. I was charged around 50K for a single eye cataract surgery for general lens, which I felt was quite high.

I would like to say a big thanks to Dr.Praveen Sir ( MBBS, MS, FICO(UK) along with Hospital management. He treated my mother very honestly as I went to the hospital for single purpose of operation of Cataract as recommended by a doctor but Dr. Praveen Sir's recomendation surprised me, Simply He prescribed a eye drop & a goggle with power. MUST NOT DO ANY LASIK SURGERY FROM HERE. I m writing my reviews after a while from the date i underwent for surgery. Doctor before told that your vision will be back and stable within 10 days, but after surgery she told it will take some time may be around a month and its totally depend on your eyes condition which was not informed before treatment. i received meditation for 6 to 8 months once i stopped taking medicine my eyes started to have itching, infections later on dry eye. I m still facing DRY EYE issue and not able to find any cure.

All experiences are better than most of the eye checkup centres in Bihar. All employees behaviour was very nice and gentle. Doctor was very friendly, and all the team members of doctors was very nice, sweet and cute. And the tall man in black shirt was very humble and gentle.

When I first visited with my mother, I had clearly informed the staff that she had been suffering from blurry vision for the last 3 months. Despite this, Mr. Indrajeet wrongly told the insurance company that her condition had been going on for one year — a completely false statement that created unnecessary complications for us. On top of that, Ms. Priyanka had clearly told me that the ECG amount would be refunded if we decided not to go ahead with the operation. Based on her assurance, I didn’t raise the refund request earlier. Now she’s saying it cannot be refunded, which feels misleading and unprofessional. The entire experience — from miscommunication to refund issues — shows a serious lack of responsibility and empathy from the staff and management. I had high expectations from this hospital, but after this experience, I would not recommend Centre for Sight, Patna, to anyone. Hospitals should care about patients and their families, not make things more stressful for them.
