I came to Drishtipunj Eye Hospital for my mother’s treatment. Although this is called a private hospital, the overall system and management feel very similar to a government hospital. The working process is extremely slow. Even for a very small task, you may end up wasting the entire day. You might think the hospital is crowded because the doctors are very good, but the reality is different. A large crowd is created by promising free treatment under Ayushman Bharat, and later patients are charged money at almost every step. There is also a serious lack of transparency. Patients are not clearly informed about which doctors are available, who is sitting on duty, or who will examine them. In my case, I paid in cash, but after talking to other patients, I learned that many came here expecting free treatment under Ayushman Bharat. However, they were charged heavily for tests, lasers, and other procedures. Only a small discount is given in the name of surgery. Considering all this, it is better to go to IGIMS or AIIMS Eye Department for treatment instead of coming here.

I had a very positive experience at this eye hospital. The doctors are highly skilled, polite, and patient-friendly. They explained my eye problem clearly and suggested the right treatment. The staff members were cooperative and well-trained, making the entire process smooth and comfortable. The hospital is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern technology. Appointments were managed on time, and the overall service was excellent. I am very satisfied with the care I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking quality eye treatment. If you want a short review, student-style, or Google review format, tell me and I’ll adjust it 😊

Have been here for more than 2 and half hours. Haven't processed even the second step. I am still waiting. Don't know what the doctors are doing. I mean it's pretty crowded and asking the patient to wait for 2 to 3 hours time is just annoying. They could give us timing. Moreover during the interval you can't even leave or else who knows how long will it take for your turn to come.

I am deeply concerned about the extremely poor management and arrangements at Drishti Eye Punj, Patna. Patients face extensive waiting times, often spending hours before consultation or procedures. There is a lack of accountability, and no proper response is provided to queries. The entire process, from appointment to operation, causes unnecessary stress. The behavior of both doctors and staff is not satisfactory, and needs immediate attention. I would strongly advise against visiting this hospital

Good hospital. State of art and latest equipment. Highly competent doctors and consultants. Overcrowded though. Actually deserves 5 Stars. Gets 3 because of the staff related issues. However, the staff belongs to the hospital only. The waiting time is generally 2-3 hours and it increases manifolds when the doctors are in the OT or on a round. Unfortunately, the token number system gets scrambled at the final consultation level. The screens meant for display the token numbers are not updated and there are no announcements or updates. The files are sent to the doctors other than preferred on account of having been consulted earlier and that too increases waiting time. The aspect is in total mess due to incompetent handling by staff or staff resorting to undesirable things. The staff turns rude if someone tries to share feedback or seek clarification. The hospital follows a culture of first come first attend basis and no prior appointments are fixed. There are tokens issued and generally followed by way of keeping the files in the order of coupon numbers. But the staff, particularly the one without uniform, was observed keeping the files of their acquaintances out of turn. The staff behavior needs improvement. The reception experience could have been better. They are reluctant to accept online payments. It is worth mentioning that the experience of previous two visits to the old location was absolutely appreciable.
