Kalinga Hospital offers a generally satisfactory healthcare experience, but there are areas that could definitely be improved. The medical staff are knowledgeable and polite, and the facilities are fairly well-maintained. I appreciated the effort of the nurses and doctors, who were attentive once engaged. However, the waiting time—both for consultations and various tests—was longer than expected, and the administrative process felt a bit slow and unorganized. Communication could also be clearer, especially regarding procedures, billing, and follow-ups. Overall, the hospital is decent for routine care, but there’s room for improvement in efficiency and patient coordination. With a few changes, it could offer a much smoother and more reassuring experience.

Our recent experience at Kalinga Hospital, Bhubaneswar for my wife’s C-section delivery was overall very good. Though we initially faced some difficulty during the planned admission, the management team — Dr. Satpathy, Dr. Rashmi, and Ms. Sudha — responded promptly and ensured smooth arrangements afterward. Their personal attention and care were truly commendable. The doctors, nursing staff, and housekeeping team provided excellent service with great compassion and professionalism. The hospital environment and patient care were highly satisfactory. However, the TPA insurance executive’s raugh behaviour and knowledge level were not up to the hospital’s standards. Similarly, the security guards’ dealing and attitude can be improved for better patient and visitor experience. Overall, I am very satisfied with the hospital’s treatment quality and management response. Kalinga Hospital is highly recommended for its professional doctors and caring service, with just a few areas that need improvement.

My mother 84 plus years was admitted in the ICU of Kalinga Hospital on 30.01.2026, got an excellent treatment under Dr Subashis Jamuda. He is a polite gentleman treated my mother with lots of patience & love. Our regards and best wishes to him.

From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the efficiency and quality of care provided. The staff were exceptional,every viral test was completed within an hour, and the doctors were both supportive and attentive. I also appreciated the politeness and kindness of the nursing staff, who took excellent care of my mother. Additionally, the security team (G4 Security) were courteous and ensured a safe environment. The overall cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital were commendable. However, I did notice that the room infrastructure, particularly the air conditioning and television, could benefit from updating to enhance patient comfort. Thank you once again for your outstanding service. I have mentioned specific staff members in my feedback form who made a significant impact on our experience. At the time of discharge we have received a cute gift by Mama swain ( staff).
