What patients say
8,444 on GoogleI was truly blessed to be in Dr.Ranjan kumar Mohanty care. From the very first meeting, she explained everything with kindness and clarity, which gave me confidence and removed my fears. The surgery went very smoothly, and her caring attitude makes her not just a wonderful doctor. but also a great human being.and Also the assistant behavior are good 👍 thank you 😊
Catering service is excellent, they are always in time. Canteen staffs are really nice especially Pintu bhai..Other services are also very good. Need little improvement in nursing and patients care. Couple of feedback 1. Need more well experienced nursing staffs as patients are high. 2. Need more improvement in general ward in all manners like nursing, house keeping and patients caring. 3. Need more sitting arrangements as Patients' relatives are standing or sitting on ground which is not good. 4. When visitors visit their patients in any ICU, humble request to the resident doctors please go to them and let them know their patients conditions. Don't hide like you have done something wrong. Because patients get well not only by Doctors treatment, but mostly by proper care of nursing staff and house keeping. They are really ground level players.
Feedback for Utkal Hospital Management I would like to begin by sincerely appreciating the doctors and nursing staff at Utkal Hospital — they are cooperative, helpful, and truly dedicated to patient care. I would gladly rate the doctors and nurses 5 stars for their service. The facilities provided for patients are also commendable. However, I would like to bring to your attention a serious and ongoing issue that directly affects the attendants of patients. There is a severe lack of basic facilities for attendants, which makes their experience extremely difficult, especially when they are already under emotional and physical stress. Here are some major concerns: There is no designated space for attendants to sit, rest, or sleep, particularly at night. During the rainy season, many attendants are forced to sleep outside the hospital premises, which is both unsafe and inhumane. There is no proper waiting area, and attendants often end up sitting or sleeping on staircases, which is unacceptable in a healthcare setting. The waiting area for attendants is kept locked, leaving them with no option but to sit in open or uncomfortable areas. The attitude and behavior of non-medical staff, especially security personnel and housekeeping staff, is often unprofessional and unhelpful. Most concerning is that security staff frequently misbehave with attendants, using rough and disrespectful language, as if attendants are a burden or nuisance — this is both insulting and unnecessary. This kind of treatment and lack of support adds to the emotional distress of families who are already dealing with a loved one’s illness. Therefore, I respectfully request the hospital management to: Provide a sheltered and accessible waiting/rest area for attendants inside the hospital premises. Allow at least one attendant to stay with the patient whenever possible. Review and improve the behavior and training of security and housekeeping staff to ensure they treat attendants with basic dignity and compassion. Utkal Hospital has great potential and already delivers excellent care to patients. But I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that attendants also receive the support, respect, and basic facilities they deserve. Thank you.
