I had a very disappointing experience at Kannika Eye Hospital. The service was extremely poor and the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that there was no proper system in place — everything felt chaotic and disorganized. The staff seemed disinterested and treated patients with a complete lack of respect and patience. Instead of providing assistance, they behaved arrogantly and made the entire experience very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone looking for proper eye care. They seriously need to work on their professionalism and management.

Okay, so first of all, Dr. Sharad Bajpai is the worst doctor in town. He performed my LASIK operation, and after that I faced severe complications such as dryness, redness in the eyes, floaters, flashes of light, severe nerve headaches, nausea, and an inability to focus properly. Whenever I approached him, he always told me, “It’s nothing, just dryness.” But now, thanks to his negligence, I have been diagnosed with disc edema (swelling in the optic nerve) and vision loss in my right eye. I am a software engineer by profession, and I don’t know how I will be able to recover from this. So please, people, choose your doctor carefully and do not fall into his trap. Your body is your responsibility, not theirs. Money may come and go, but your body parts and your life won’t.

Worst and most insulting experience at Kanika Eye Care Hospital. My grandmother was supposed to get eye treatment here, but the hospital runs with zero time management and zero ethics. Patients are not treated based on arrival or medical condition. Everything is clearly decided by how much money you pay. What made this experience even worse was the behaviour of a staff member named Tripathi. He openly said that “the people who give more money are Vande Bharat, and you people are passenger train.” This statement was humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable—especially in a hospital dealing with elderly patients. Senior citizens were made to wait for hours while others were taken in just because they paid more. No explanations, no empathy, no professionalism. The staff behaved as if poor or regular patients don’t deserve basic respect. The doctor involved was Dr. Sharad Bajpai. Instead of stopping this kind of discrimination, the system under his supervision allowed such money-based and insulting treatment to continue. A hospital is not a railway platform where rich people get “Vande Bharat” treatment and others are treated like second-class passengers. This place has forgotten what healthcare and humanity mean. I strongly do NOT recommend this hospital to anyone. Think twice before bringing your parents or grandparents here.
