COMPASSIONATE CARE AMIDST CONTROLLED CHAOS We have been visiting KG Hospital, Gopalapuram over the past few weeks and have had occasion to consult multiple departments, including Orthopedics, ENT, and Dermatology. Despite clear space constraints owing to its central location, the hospital is impressively well organised and efficiently run. Modern facilities are evident throughout, and departments such as Cardiology stand out with their extensive array of advanced scientific and diagnostic equipment. What truly makes the experience reassuring is the human element. The doctors we consulted in the above three departments were exceptional—kind, patient, empathetic, and highly responsive. The nursing staff too reflected the same professionalism and compassion. Patients are attended strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, underlining a robust system rooted in fairness and equality rather than preferential treatment. Importantly, the rates remain very reasonable for a hospital of this stature. The hospital provides good seating arrangements in most waiting areas, which is a relief given the patient load. Parking is well thought out, with a vertical parking system accommodating around 200 cars, supplemented by shuttle arrangements between the parking area and the main hospital. The hospital also has a well organised canteen. One puzzling aspect was the so-called VIP/foreign patients’ room, where “West Bengal” was oddly listed—as if it were a foreign country. One hopes this inadvertent error is corrected soon. That minor quibble aside, KG Hospital remains an excellent, dependable healthcare institution that inspires confidence and respect.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to KG Hospital for the excellent medical care and support provided to my father, Mr. J. Reuben (Age 72), who was admitted for CABG heart surgery. As advised by Dr. Krishnan, the surgery was successfully performed on 13th January 2026. By God’s grace and the dedicated efforts of the medical team, my father has now recovered very well. We are extremely thankful for the doctor’s expertise, clear guidance, and confident decision-making throughout the treatment. I would like to especially mention Secretary Seeba Madam, whose guidance, caring nature, kind words, and respectful behavior gave us great comfort during a very stressful time. Her support and humane approach truly reflect the values of KG Hospital. Our family recently went through a major medical journey when my father, Sivakumar, underwent CABG surgery at KG Hospital.
