The TKR of my mother for both the knees has been done by Dr. Vikram Shah & team in the month of Oct 2025 @ Krishna Shalby Hospital. This is our 3rd TKR experience with Shalby hospital. Both of my in-laws with replaced knees are happily walking & living a comfortable day to day life from 17/ 4 years respectively. We had a comfortable & caring stay same as earlier. The hospital staff was extremely supportive & understanding. Thanks to Dr. Vikram Shah & Team for incredible job and Administrative & nursing staff for their support & warmth. #KrishnaShalbyExperience #ShareYourShalbyStory #HappyWithKrishnaShalby #healwithkrishnashalby

Nazneen and Team followed up and ensured that changes will be made after consulting with management to create a better experience for patients and their relatives. OLD FEEDBACK - Hospital senior doctors are good. But the night staff at reception and critical care unit lacks complete empathy and transparency. Not good facility for relative staying at night. Even after spending good amount of Money relative staying at night for patients in critical have to sleep on floors and sit on metal chairs like a railways stations platform. It is highly unprofessional environment tarnishing a name of good hospital chain. ------------- OVERALL FEEDBACK POSITIVE: - Healthcare/Nursing Staff & Homecare staff is doing a fantastic job specially, Deepa ji and Meet ji they went extra mile to ensure patients last few hours were as much better as possible at home and during routine treatment at hospital. - Senior Doctors specially Dr. Saurabh was really helpful and gave honest suggestions keeping patients condition in mind and supported patient family in many ways including troubleshooting interdepartmental communications inconsistencies. - Billing and Insurance staff specially Mr. Nishit ji is really helpful and understanding. ------------- NEED MAJOR IMPROVEMENT - Shalby ICCU staff needs to have a proper handover process improvements by Management - Patients and relatives both are suffering due to mismanagement by on floor doctors. 1. Since Morning Staff was informed that patient is not showing progress by senior doctor as expected so relatives have decided to take patient in homecare with home ICU setup so patient can have peaceful time at home for last few hours with his family members around him. 2. Shalby Homecare staff was available outside ICU since morning to take proper inventory list and set it up at home before moving. 3. Shalby ICU staff did not explain what devices or medication are needed for entire day until the time of discharging. Neither they provided any checklist or medication list to be continued to make last few hours as much comfortable as possible for patient. Resulting in running around for additional devices & critical ongoing medications during patient transit and homesetup. 4. Shalby Homecare staff asked couple of times to explain the device setting and test the portable devices like ventilator so patient can be stable on new device before moving. Doctors in ICU disagreed and told it is not our responsibility and if you want you can take a photo and then later do it yourself. These were the words of Doctor on Floor - "THIS IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY, WE ARE ONLY RESPONSIBLE TO BRING PATIENT STABLE UNTIL AMBULANCE AFTER THAT WE DON'T CARE" - Literally they didn't even waited to check or performed checklist if patient was stable on ICU on wheels devices or if ICU on wheels had proper needed devices like sufficient infusion pumps. Neither a nurse or doctor was on board on Ambulance to ensure proper setup in ambulance or at home for patient which resulted in further deteriorating of patients condition. 5. Setting up at home took hours due to delay in getting needed devices and medications for which patient's relatives & homecare staff had to run around various Shalby hospital branches to arrange at the last moment. ------ SHALBY KRISHNA's INTERDEPARTMENTAL HANDOVER CHECKLIST & COMMUNICATIONS NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT. ------ SPECIALLY MID LEVEL INHOUSE DOCTORS NEED TO UNDERSTAND - YES YOU ARE GOD... BUT YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH HUMANS & FOR HUMANS SO HUMANITY AND EMPATHY SHOULD COME FIRST IN YOUR LINE OF WORK. ------ Hope these experiences and feedbacks bring positive changes by Management not specific to this case but overall all for the departments, staffs, family members and patients.
