I would like to share my wonderful experience at Laxmi Eye Institute Panvel after undergoing a complicated left eye surgery on Feb 18, 2026 due to an injury sustained while playing cricket 6 months ago. Hats off to Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar and his team of assisting doctors for successfully conducting the eye operation that lasted almost 2 hours. The support staff including the front office, the back office, the technicians, the counsellors and others were so professional and efficient that it made me as a patient feel very comfortable and in safe hands. This empathy and care is possibly the difference between “Good” patient care versus “Excellent” patient care. I am from Singapore known for its efficiency in healthcare, but believe me Laxmi Eye Institute led by Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar, his team of fantastic doctors and the support staff are a cut above the rest and that’s what gives you the assurance when u are wheeled into the ops theatre. A big thanks to Dr. Devendra Venkatramani whom i met immediately after my injury 6 months back when I was still in trauma. He is a model doctor, a patient listener and epitome of calmness. He was one of the key reasons in me deciding to get operated at Laxmi Eye Institute instead of any hospital in Singapore or other reputed eye speciality hospitals in India. Between the words they treat everyone with the same respect and provide the same kind of care irrespective of who you are and your status. We recently got cataract surgery done for my mother at Laxmi Eye Clinic, Panvel, and our experience has been excellent from start to finish. A special thanks to Jhanvi mam, the counsellor, who guided us patiently from day one till the final check-up. She explained every step clearly, addressed all our concerns, and was always approachable and supportive throughout the journey. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Suhar Haldipurkar sir for conducting the surgery with great expertise and care. The procedure went smoothly, and we felt confident being under his treatment. Our sincere thanks also to Dr. Tanvi Haldipurkar, the femto laser specialist involved in the surgery, for her precision and professionalism and Dr Simone Lobo for expert advice on retina. Overall, the entire staff was very welcoming, courteous, and helpful, which made the whole process stress-free for our family. Truly grateful to the entire team at Laxmi Eye Clinic, Panvel. I recently underwent cataract surgery at Laxmi Eye Hospital, Panvel on 02/03/2026. I had also visited the hospital earlier in 2003, and once again my experience has been truly amazing. I have no words to fully express my feelings. I can only say that Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar is truly a “God of Vision.” All the doctors and staff working there are extremely caring, supportive, and dedicated to their patients. I would especially like to mention Mrs. Sonali Joshi, the counsellor, who is very knowledgeable and guided me throughout the entire process of my surgery with great care and patience. Laxmi eye hospital is taking fullest care of the patient. Their quality of care excellent. I am staying (Mumbai sub urban) for away from Panvel but still preferred to go there because of the Quality of Care. All support staff including the counselor Lavanya are taking care from the beginning and following it up consistently. Further to add Dr. Prakash Chipade is marvelous, very nice in handling the cataract surgery. Praying God to bless them to continue the good service to the people. I recommend few other friends as well and they also did cataract surgery there and they are happy. Just i told about the hospital to one my classmate who is having some eye issue....he is in Thane and he will come for consultation soon. What I want to say please don't mind about the the long distance, think about your eye which is very important and that will give light to whole body.
