Dr.Shukla is amazing at his work. He has been very patient and talks wonderfully. I am grateful to him for treating my mother. Dr. Bapi is very polite and full of positivity. Mr. Debanjan is very helpful and polite, and sweet. The ladies in the patient room are very polite too however rest of the hospital staff are extremely unorganised and supremely arrogant . No one knows what is happening. The lady besides me was allowed 5-6 people as her visitors (including a child who is around 3 years old at 22.30 night). I am the only child so in the morning my aunt came with me but she wasn’t allowed to enter. What a freaking discrimination is that? ARE YOU CHARGING EXTRA MONEY OR ELSE YOU HAVE FAVOURITISM GOING ON HERE? Highly disappointed if there is a rule it must be applicable for all but no seems like you like to give special treatment for certain people, which is absolutely ridiculous. Disgusting!!

My experience at Narayana Health Hospital, Howrah was very good. The hospital is clean and well-maintained, and the staff members are polite, supportive, and professional. The overall treatment process felt well-organized, and patients are treated with care and respect. I would like to specially mention Mr. Prashanto Kumar Das, who is an extremely kind, helpful, and responsible person. He explains everything patiently and is always ready to assist patients and their families. His behavior and dedication truly make a positive difference. Overall, I am very satisfied with the services of Narayana Health Hospital, Howrah, and I would definitely recommend it to others. 👍

My experience at Narayana Super Speciality Hospital with Dr Vivek Sharma was extremely disappointing and stressful for our family. I admitted my father after he suffered a broken ankle expecting proper care and professional medical guidance. Unfortunately, even basic patient care was neglected. My father was not given a shower for four days and there was no assistance provided for brushing his teeth during the entire stay. For a hospital that claims to be a super speciality facility, neglecting such basic hygiene and patient care is unacceptable. Regarding the fracture itself, we did not see proper attention or explanation about the treatment plan. Instead of calmly discussing the condition with the patient and family, Dr Vivek Sharma was very rude during conversations. Rather than listening to our concerns, he immediately pushed for surgery and told us that if we wanted the operation then he would proceed, otherwise we should take the patient somewhere else. The way the doctor spoke was very unprofessional and intimidating. It felt like unnecessary fear was being created around the condition instead of explaining options properly and guiding the patient in a supportive way. Additionally, some of the nursing staff used rude language and behaved poorly, which made the entire hospital experience even more stressful. Overall, the behaviour of the doctor and the lack of basic patient care was shocking for a hospital of this reputation. Thankfully we decided to move our patient out of the hospital and seek treatment elsewhere. I hope the hospital management seriously reviews patient care standards, staff behaviour, and doctor–patient communication so that other families do not face a similar experience.

We recently underwent a major surgery at Narayana Super Speciality Hospital under the care of Dr. Kaustav Basu, and our experience has been extremely positive. We are truly grateful for Dr. Basu’s expertise, professionalism, and compassionate approach, which gave us great confidence throughout the treatment journey. We would also like to especially appreciate the International Help Desk team for their outstanding support, coordination, and responsiveness. Their guidance made the entire process smooth and stress-free for us. Overall, we are highly satisfied with the quality of medical care and services provided by the hospital. Based on our experience, we have already recommended Narayana Super Speciality Hospital to our friends and family and will continue to do so with full confidence.
