Visited the hospital twice. Once for consultation and second time for a scan. I would say the facilities are quite good but the approach of the doctors is very insensitive towards the patients. First experience was with Dr Manish. Without Waiting for latest mammography report he very easily announced that cancer is surely there. Maybe bilateral and will require complete mastectomy. Imagine the state of mind of the patient. I am well aware of the symptoms of breast cancer but still was shaken up by his verdict..shook me totally and later when the report came..it clearly said no clear sign of malignancy. I still wonder if this could happen to me who is educated and aware what the poor ignorant patients must be going through! This was still better. Come to talk of the radiologist Ms Harkirat Kaur. I can say with full conviction that she is the *most rude and insensitive doctor I have ever met in my life*. She was just not ready to answer to any of my queries. Very very rude behaviour. Not realizing that the patient is already under so much of trauma. During the mammography when she almost refused to answer to my queries she started insisting that I should get fnac from her again. As her report will be correct. I refused since I had already got it done from different labs thrice and all three reports were in sync. Don't what made her say ki report to humari hi sahi hogi! Then when I told her if I have to get my treatment done it will be through defence as my husband is from defence, she cheekily said ki jab treatment hum se nahi karwani to rehne do..kya fayda! Was convinced that in me she saw a patient who could get good revenue for the hospital. I request the authorities to pl look into the matter. The dealing by the doctors especially the radiologist is very traumatic and saddening. Let them be humans first and then doctors.. someone's well being lies in their hands. And pl remember we may be just a number for u but for someone we may be the reason to live.

We recently lost our beloved family member at Patel Hospital. While this was an extremely painful time for our family, what made it even harder was the disappointing experience we had during her stay. The ICU staff should be trained not only to handle critical patients professionally but also to treat them with empathy and basic human sensitivity. Unfortunately, our experience was very bitter. Every time we visited her, she appeared to be in agony. She would request something as basic as a sip of water, a change of position, or attention to a soiled diaper that had not been changed for hours. Within just three days of admission, she developed bed sores, which raised serious concerns about whether timely repositioning and proper nursing care were being provided. Seeing her suffer in this way was extremely distressing for our family. When these concerns were raised with the attending staff and nurses, instead of addressing the issue compassionately, they confronted her—even though she was barely able to speak or breathe. This was deeply upsetting for us as family members. The doctors, too, share responsibility. It is their duty to ensure that critical patients are kept comfortable and treated with dignity. Instead, the focus appeared to be on billing. The charges were exorbitant, but the quality of care and service was far below expectations. We hope the hospital administration takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving patient care standards, especially in the ICU, where compassion, attentiveness, and patient dignity matter the most.
