Very serious concern at Retina Hospital, Indore. It is extremely disappointing that such a large and well-established hospital does not provide a basic facility like purified drinking water (RO) for patients, attendants, or even staff. Everyone is drinking unfiltered cooler water. In a healthcare institution, this is not just negligence — it is a potential health risk, especially for already sick and vulnerable patients. I have personally observed this issue for the past 8 months during multiple visits. Despite being aware of the situation, no corrective action has been taken. Clean drinking water is not a luxury; it is the most basic responsibility of any hospital. If installing an RO system is somehow a financial burden for such a big hospital, perhaps management can inform the public — maybe patients and visitors will have to start contributing for safe drinking water too. This matter requires immediate attention. I strongly urge the hospital management to take responsibility and install proper water purification systems without any further delay.
