Pranav Satish·
I had a very good experience at Sai Hospital, Chembur. The doctors here are highly knowledgeable, patient, and give the right guidance without rushing. The nursing staff is caring, attentive, and always available whenever needed. What I liked most is the personal attention given to patients – it doesn’t feel commercialized, but more like genuine care. The admission and discharge process was also smooth and well-coordinated. Overall, I would highly recommend Sai Hospital, Chembur, to anyone looking for quality treatment with a compassionate approach.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Patient Care and Unethical Practices *SAI HOSPITAL CHEMBUR* I am writing this complaint to highlight the extremely poor management, negligence, and unethical practices we have experienced at your hospital. The treatment given to patients and the behavior of staff is highly unprofessional and has caused severe distress to the patient and family. Major Concerns: 1. Basic Necessities & Supplies • Patient’s family is repeatedly asked to buy gloves for ward boys and doctors, as well as basic hospital necessities like cotton rolls. • Essential medicines are not given properly, and excuses are made if the family asks for discounts. 2. Negligence in Patient Care • Ward boys are also working as nurses without proper training. • When requested to clean or change diapers, staff ignore and neglect patient care. Only after arguments do they attend, by which time infections have already developed (e.g., urine infection due to negligence). • Removal of the urine pipe was done without proper cleaning, which again caused infection. • Curtains are not allowed to be used even when patients are in distress. 3. Unhygienic Conditions • The hospital is extremely unhygienic, with cockroaches everywhere. • Toilets are so small that the door touches the seat, making them unusable and unsafe. 4. Unethical Billing & Exploitation • Checkup charges are inflated (e.g., actual cost ₹1,000 but charged ₹10,000). • Asking for cash payments directly for doctors. • Patient files are withheld unless money is paid. • Pharmacy items are forced to be bought from the hospital only; outside medicines are rejected or even thrown into the dustbin. • Delay in payment results in stopping essential medicines. 5. Misbehavior & Unprofessional Conduct • Nurses use abusive language loudly, even in ICU. • Staff mock patient families behind their back. • Arguments and blame are constantly placed on patients and their relatives, even when mistakes are made by staff. • When confronted, staff show anger instead of accountability. 6. Facilities & ICU Mismanagement • ICU is managed more like a general ward, with 2–3 family members sitting together. • No privacy or dignity maintained for patients. • Ambulance service is never on time, and if complained, staff say to arrange another ambulance yourself. • Patients are made to wait 3–4 hours for doctors while staff keep saying “doctor is on the way.” 7. Overcharging & Unjustified Expenses • Dr. Kuntal Pal charges ₹4,000 per visit. • ICU charges ₹8,000 per day. • Bill for 9 days: ₹3,00,000 hospital charges + ₹1,00,000 for medicines. • Gross overcharging without transparency or justification. Summary: There is no seriousness, no adherence to medical rules, and no professional ethics being followed. Patients and families are exploited financially and emotionally, with complete neglect of hygiene, medical protocols, and dignity. I request urgent investigation and strict action against such practices to prevent further harm to patients. Pls don’t ever visit this hospital we have face a lot
