I had a very disappointing experience at Shankara Eye Hospital, Jaipur. I had booked my appointment 3 days in advance, yet when I reached the hospital, I was given a token at 11 AM. Shockingly, even after waiting till 3 PM, I was not able to meet the doctor for my eye checkup. The management is extremely poor and the staff was very unprofessional and rude in their behavior. There was no proper communication or respect for patients’ time. Despite prior booking, the hospital seems to have no regard for punctuality or patient care. Highly dissatisfied with the services. If you value your time and want proper treatment with respect, I would not recommend this hospital. Still I am waiting 😔

The doctors are good, but the staff is not supportive and behaves unprofessionally. Today, during communication at the reception desk, the staff used very inappropriate language and even said they would slap the patient. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a healthcare environment. Staff members should be respectful and professional while dealing with patients and their families.

Worst hospital, even after multiple checkup and final doctor for hours who checked, they gave wrong eye number and suggested to get operated. At other places, one or 2 eye test can give accurate eye number. Not sure but it seems They are just acting that they care. They just want patient to get operated to fill their pockets, running with complete business mentality; They are cheap mentality and just want to loot money, comprising people's health; They will definitely gonna get as per their Karma.

I recently visited Shankara Eye Hospital, Jaipur, for a full eye check-up that took around five hours. Though my tests were completed, I wasn’t given any number or power for my eyes, so I returned the next day to consult the doctor about which glasses to use for studying and screen time. The staff asked me to wait, but no one called me in even after a long time. When I visited again, a female doctor told me to register at the counter, and the staff there spoke very harshly, asking me to take a token and wait again. I found this behavior unprofessional and disappointing. I only wanted a simple consultation, not a full check-up again, since I had already completed both normal and dilated eye tests two days earlier. Overall, I felt dissatisfied and uncomfortable with the staff’s behavior and the way my concern was handled.

My name is Rajneesh. My patient's name is Dharamender Meena. I brought my patient to Sankara eye Hospital on September 23-09-2025, for a checkup. Several doctors examined him thoroughly. One doctor said the patient's condition was serious and an operation would be necessary. I refused, and he suggested the operation. She said the patient would need tests first, so get those done and I'll take the tests. I went to the reception for the test charge prescription and they took 1.5 hours to collect the charges but I did not say anything. Then I went to the nursing room to get the test done and they told me to sit there. I sit there for 40 minutes. After that, they took the blood sample and said that the report would come after 1 hour. I sit there. Then I went to the counselling room and said, Ma'am, please get the file prepared. The patient is getting worried.she said that he would be shifted to the room only after the blood reports come. Then I sit down and she 5:00 clock and told me to get the payment done for the operation. A technical issue came up in my account, so I told her to get the payment done for the operation. Send it, I will do the payment later. After 20 minutes the payment was done 5:45 pm . I went to the counselling room and said, Ma'am, please get the operation done. She told me charul Ma'am left at 6:00. I said, it's 5:40 now. She said, I left. Ma'am then said, that the rules of Sankara Eye Hospital are first payment and then operation. this is the protocol. Today on 24-09-25, till 12 patients were not taken to the OT room. Sankara Eye Hospital is not at all what I had heard about it. My patient was very troubled yesterday. If you try to ask the staff anything, they don't tell you anything exactly. The room was not cleaned until 2:00 PM. If you stand outside the doctor's room to meet him, the staff says that you cannot stand outside the doctor's room, sir will not meet you right now. 🙏
