My father underwent total knee replacement surgery at Shashwat Hospital, Kothrud, and we had a very positive experience overall. The surgery was performed by Dr. Saraf, who is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. We felt confident and reassured under his care. The pre-operative and post-operative treatment was well planned and smoothly managed. Special thanks to the physiotherapist Dr. Sapana, who took excellent care of my father during recovery. She was very patient, supportive, and professional, and even came home daily to guide him with exercises, which made a huge difference in his rehabilitation. We are very satisfied with the treatment and would highly recommend Shashwat Hospital and Dr. Saraf for knee replacement surgery.

Excellent experience at Shashwat Hospital, Pune I had a great experience with Dr. Alka Ranade at Shashwat Hospital. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and explains everything clearly. Her calm and positive approach gave me a lot of confidence and comfort. The hospital staff is polite, supportive, and the cleanliness and management are excellent. Unacceptable Behavior of Casualty Nurse at Shashwat Hospital, Kothrud ( Shashwat Hospital Administration) I'm writing to express extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service I received at your casualty department today (05/02/26). The doctor instructed me to take a B12 injection, but the nurse's behavior was completely unprofessional. After a test and 15-minute wait, I requested the injection. The nurse claimed both nurses were on breakfast and asked me to wait another 15 minutes. When I requested another nurse, she rudely said, "If you don't have time, don't come to the hospital." Despite explaining my urgency, she replied, "Amhla khayla velach nasto" and refused to attend to me. She was laughing and told me, "Tumhala kuthe complaint karaychi te kara" (Do whatever complaint you want to make). This arrogant behavior at 12:16 pm, not even break time, was shocking. When I asked for her name, it was refused. Such conduct is unacceptable and embarrassing for a medical institution. I request a thorough investigation and strict action against the concerned nurse. Our experience with Shashwat Hospital was extremely disappointing and stressful. My 81-year-old grandmother was admitted for 11 days for chest congestion, but there was absolutely no improvement in her condition. Her oxygen levels were dropping to dangerous levels, yet the hospital did not upgrade her treatment, did not suggest advanced investigations, and gave us no clear communication. We later discovered that the hospital does not even have essential facilities like a CT scan, which is crucial for diagnosing lung infections, pneumonia, and other complications. Despite her deteriorating condition, we were told to take discharge instead of receiving appropriate care. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hospital for critical or elderly patients.
