Worst hospital experience. Please avoid. My grandmother was admitted to Shatayu Hospital in Feb 2025 due to dangerously high BP (nearly 200). She is a CGHS patient, and despite having a UTI, it was ignored for almost 15 days. She was kept forcefully admitted for 15 days without clear explanations. Tests were conducted outside the hospital, yet no proper reports or details were ever shared. Procedures like cystoscopy and stent insertion were done without transparent communication. Most importantly, her heart-related test reports were never shared, and her cardiac condition was completely ignored. Dr. Mishra, despite being a cardiologist, failed to identify or investigate her rising BP and underlying heart issues. Because of this negligence, her blockages were not recognized early, her condition kept worsening, and she was put on 12–15 unnecessary tablets per day, leading to severe loss of appetite and extreme weakness. Due to this delayed and improper care, her condition deteriorated further, and she finally had to undergo a bypass surgery in December 2025, something that could have been addressed much earlier with responsible medical attention. Doctors also used fear tactics, including statements like “eating sugar can cause cancer”. The actual issue was addressed only on the last day, making the prolonged admission feel exploitative, especially for a CGHS patient. Lack of transparency, negligence by Dr. Mishra, and highly unprofessional staff. Strongly DO NOT recommend this hospital, especially for senior citizens or CGHS patients.

The hospital pathalogy is fraud , I got my father's HB1AC checked from healthian and it was 7.7, they rechecked it and it was 5.8 saying his diabetes is in good control, got it checked Dr lal pathlab again and it was 7.9 supporting the report by healthians. Similar issue with creatinine. They are looting money in the name of unnecessary tests.

I got an opportunity to visit & stay for one week at Shat Ayu hosp, Nagpur on referral of my wife from ECHS for gall bladder stone surgery. It was indeed a wonderful experience as compared to other hospitals. The complete staff is so committed & have patient friendly behaviour that I didn't expect as generally saw in other hospitals. A well experienced, dedicated & thorough professional team of doctors keeps this hosp totally alone in city. I pray God to give them lots of energy to keep treating & helping the mankind with such dedication & professional spirits. Tks

We will never ever suggest this hospital to anyone...all doctors are too commercial, staff is also behaving arrogantly. Only for hand fracture doctors told us that you had to do operation on urgent basis....poor hospital
