I would like to formally report a very unpleasant experience during my recent visit to Vijay Diagnostic Centre. 1. Billing Delay: Despite having an appointment, it took approximately 45 minutes just to complete the billing process, which is unacceptable, especially for pregnant patients who may have physical discomfort. 2. Doctor’s Behaviour: The attending doctor, Dr. Ashish Vijay, appeared extremely laid-back and uninterested throughout the scan. He did not actively explain findings and was dismissive when questions were asked. 3. Family Restriction Without Sensitivity: My husband was asked to stay outside, which prevented him from asking questions or understanding the scan. This was done without any empathetic explanation, making the experience emotionally distressing. 4. Dismissal of a Reasonable Request: When we politely requested to see the baby’s face, the doctor responded curtly that “you will not be able to see it properly” and made no effort to guide or reassure us. 5. Staff Feedback Raising Concerns: Most concerning was that the assistant herself mentioned that the doctor gets frustrated, which reflects poorly on professionalism and patient care standards. Overall, this experience lacked basic courtesy, empathy, and patient engagement, which are critical—especially in maternity-related diagnostics. Such conduct significantly undermines trust and comfort during a sensitive medical moment. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both process inefficiencies and behavioural concerns, so future patients do not have to go through a similar experience.

My experience with this doctor (Lt .Gen. (dr .) H.L kakria was quite disappointing. During the consultation, the doctor spoke in a very demeaning and disrespectful manner. Instead of communicating calmly and professionally, the tone felt condescending. A patient usually comes to a doctor seeking help, clarity, and reassurance. Unfortunately, the way the doctor spoke made us feel uncomfortable and belittled. Basic courtesy and respectful communication are essential in healthcare, and they were clearly lacking in this interaction. Medical knowledge alone is not enough—patients also deserve empathy, patience, and dignity. I hope the doctor reflects on how their words and tone affect patients and improves their approach in future consultations.

One of the worst centre for any diagnostic related investigation in Gurgaon. They do not pick any phone calls inspite of calling continuously on their numbers mentioned on google search. And when they recieve call they just ignore what the patient wants to tell/enquire. The male person picked the call and when I told my grievance he just diconnected my call and stopped receiving my call. He even does not know how to talk with any patient who is calling continuously on their numbers. He even does not know how to talk with patient. His communication skill is very very poor and I am really amazed how he has been appointed on front office whose communication skill is so so poor. Patients are calling continously on the number and they are not bother to pick up call. I tried to talk with manager but they told me that he cannot talk with me as he is very busy right now. Is this the way they are running any centrenwith this kind of manager ?? A big big question on running a centre like this where calls are not picked, persons sitting on reception do not have communication skill, manager do not respond and many more to say. I very well know that the management would not take any action on these points as if they would have taken these points seriously before, I would not have written anything like this on any platform.
