My son is taking therapy at Ankura Hospital Lb Nagar, and we are very satisfied with the services provided. The therapists are very supportive, caring, and patient with children. We enrolled our 3-year-old son in speech therapy sessions at CDC, Ankura Hospitals, LB Nagar, based on the recommendation of Dr. Ajay Kulkarni, Paediatrician and Neonatologist from the same hospital, and it has been one of the best decisions we have made for his development. A heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Lakshmi, Speech Therapist at CDC, whose expertise, structured approach, and genuine care have played a significant role in our son's progress. When we started, our child had considerable speech delays. Over the past two months (currently in the second package of sessions), we have witnessed remarkable and steady improvement. Dr. Lakshmi patiently began with foundational sound recognition and oral-motor exercises, including blowing activities, and gradually built his communication skills step by step. Today, our son can say his own name, call his parents using regional language names, count and spell numbers from 1 to 10, and enthusiastically recite alphabets along with us. The transformation has been truly encouraging. What stands out most about Dr. Lakshmi is her ability to quickly identify specific areas that need attention and create a focused, individualized plan while ensuring overall speech development progresses in the right direction. Her deep subject knowledge, professional excellence, and structured training methodology are exceptional. Equally important is her warmth, patience, and positive energy. She has created an environment where our child feels comfortable, motivated, and eager to learn. We still have a journey ahead, but we are extremely confident that he is in the best possible hands. We admitted my wife to Ankura Hospital for her delivery and had been consulting there from the first month of pregnancy. While the medical care from Dr. Himabindu was excellent—she is extremely caring, attentive, and supportive—our overall experience with hospital administration was disappointing. There was poor coordination between the admission team, the doctor, and us as patients throughout the pregnancy. Charges were not explained clearly from the beginning, despite multiple visits and consultations. Only one day before admission, we were contacted and informed about the charges, which were much higher than expected. At that point, we had no real choice but to proceed, as we trusted and depended on Dr. Himabindu and had chosen this hospital specifically for her care. After receiving the final bill, I approached the billing staff/consultant (Deepa) to seek clarification. Unfortunately, the response was rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the concerns, the staff made dismissive remarks, suggesting that we had come only to ask for a discount and stating that nothing could be done. We were also told that it was the patient’s responsibility to explain the disease and that the hospital does not follow up, which was quite shocking and unacceptable. While the doctor’s care was outstanding, the billing transparency, coordination, and staff behavior need serious improvement. Better communication and a more respectful approach from the administrative team would greatly improve the overall patient experience.
