Arunodaya Desert Eye Hospital

I had a very disappointing experience today while visiting with my mother, who is on a wheelchair. Mr. Ankur Kumar (ground floor staff) appeared unwilling to assist and showed a lack of basic empathy and responsibility. Without providing any proper guidance, he asked us to go to the 2nd floor stating he could not perform the required test. This was extremely inconvenient given my mother’s condition. The doctor on the 2nd floor was patient and supportive, but we were again directed back to the ground floor. Unfortunately, Mr. Ankur remained unhelpful and failed to clearly explain the next steps. What was most concerning was that he instructed other staff not to provide me with the report without even confirming whether the payment had been made—which it already had been. Only after I raised my concern did someone step in and ask him to guide us properly. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially when dealing with elderly or physically dependent patients. Basic coordination, communication, and empathy are expected in such environments. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures better training and accountability for staff.
