I recently completed a 14-day treatment program for Lumbar Disc Prolapse at Dhanwathralaya Ayurveda Hospital West Tambaram, and the experience was transformative. Before coming here, I was struggling with chronic lower back pain and radiating numbness. The doctor Smt Vanitha R Murali Kumar designed a personalized plan including traditional therapies and a specific diet. I noticed a significant reduction in pain after 6 days. The therapists Mr Praveen and Mr Krishna Prasad were highly skilled, and the duty doctor Ms Abhisha maintained a healing environment. The treatment included Oil therapy, Vasthi, Physiotherapy and Leech treatment apart from intake of certain medicines. Food quality was very nice though it was purely diet based. Smt Sangeetha and Mr Vicky Manoj the Cook is a great Chef needs special mention. Mr Seik Maideen physiotherapist was very friendly and took special care in giving treatment. Yoga teacher Ms Lekha Shri and Harini were true professionals and taught yoga practices with specific reference to the patient"s health condition. Each treatment was well planned on a daily basis. Entire staff of the hospital was very cooperative and helpful through out my stay. Hospital ambience was neat and clean always. The hospital staff kept me in a family atmosphere. Mr Senthil took overall care of the building upkeep. Thanks to the entire team. I Highly recommed this hospital for treatment of any type of illness.

I had severe back pain and one of my managers suggested that I consult Dr. Vanitha at Dhanwantharalaya. I have visited the hospital and was admitted to Dhanwantharalaya hospital for 14 days. After varma and therapy treatment now I feel some reduction in my pain. Dr. Vanitha and team helped me to get recovered from my back pain issue. Yoga trainers, Physiotherapists Krishna Prasanth, Arun, Praveen, Nadhan and varma doctors are all very kind. Thanks to all the staff and also Ranjitha Priya. Last week from 22-01-26 to 28-01-26, I and my wife admitted as in-patients at Dhanwantralaya Ayurvedic Hospital, Tambaram for the treatment of back pain and knee pain for me and body pain, shoulder pain and knee pain for my wife. Even though my ailment was not acute; we were admitted for Panchakarma treatment, we surprised to see the result of the treatment at the end. Really, it was a rest and rejuvenation for us. The hospital is situated in a serene and calm atmosphere distancing from chaotic and busy world of Chennai city. The building is not a sophisticated one, but every place in the hospital is beautiful, calm and homely nature. The small mount nearby is a pleasant scene from the terrace of the building. The hospital atmosphere itself gives half relief to every patient admitted there. The maintenance of the hospital and the treatment is a fantastic one, giving all credit to the founder and chief Dr. Vanitha Muralikumar. The rooms provided for inpatients are very clean, comfortable with all amenities. First day random blood test was taken and daily, weight and BP taken and monitored. Daily morning herbal tea, kashayam then tiffen, at 11 o’clock fruit, lunch, evening snacks such as sundal, herbal tea and night dinner were provided. All are arrived in time and also tasty, nutritious and hygienic. All staff are very accommodative and kindful to the patients for giving guidance, advice and instructions. The thaila massaging personnel are very efficient and experienced persons from Kerala and becomes very friendly to us, in my case S/Sri Arun, Praveen, Krishnaprasad and Ms. Ishwarya and another girl in my wife’s case. Their approach to us is like a mother to her children. Their duty conscious is a boon to the hospital. The duty doctors, staff nurses, cleaning staff, food supply personnel and cook are all have the deserving credits in the smooth running of the hospital. Additionally the Yoga teacher’s teachings are very much beneficial to the patients. On the final day, our pains were reduced to a great extent. Finally we were impressed very much, the one week stay and treatment in the hospital is a memorable and a pleasant experience for us to be remembered for a long time.

Namaskaram. It is said: Good things happen and Bad things done….. In the same way, Diseases done; Healing happens….. As soon as one enters a right place of treatment, healing starts to happen. Such is the vibe at the place - the Dhanwanthralaya Ayurveda Speciality Hospital, located in Tambaram, which is doing a yeoman service to the suffering people. I truly feel proud to write this small testimony about this lovable place where I happened to happily stay as an in-patient for one week and had my invaluable treatment. Being a CGHS patient, I felt that I can go for a rest and rejuvenation spell. As ‘yoga’ is also one among the treatment at this hospital it truly inspired me to go there. But to our (myself and my spouse) sweet-surprise, the hospital and their hospitality were so nice that we were felt truly over-whelmed. Being situated in a serene location a little away from Tambaram GST Road, with beautiful green trees around and adjacent to a small hill loaded with green trees and bushes, the hospital has a class in itself. Words are poor to express the dedication of the staff who work tirelessly with utmost devotion. The staff include the front desk staff and the Manager of the Hospital and its young duty doctors, nurses, the technical therapists who give true therapeutic massages and other therapies (for longer periods), the canteen staff who cook very good homely food and deliver them to rooms with an unfailing punctuality and the house-keeping and maintenance staff. All credit goes to Dr.Vanitha R. Muralikumar, the Founder and Chairperson of Dhanwanthralaya Hospital, who is such a high-profile person yet down-to-earth, who cares very much for the ailing people. I fondly remember the hearty therapy services by (i) Mr.Arun apart from (ii) Mr.Praveen and (iii) Mr.Krishna Prasad done with care and positive attitude and the dedicated services and other staff of this wonderful place.
