You said: This hospital operates under charitable funding, yet arbitrary and unfair practices are openly carried out here. Recently, when I tried to click photos for writing a review, the security guard forced me to delete them. The most shocking part is that the staff themselves take patients’ mobile phones and write reviews on their behalf. The behavior and treatment given to patients here is extremely poor. Although the services and facilities are funded by government money and taxpayers like me, the attitude towards patients is very disrespectful. There is a lot of favoritism and unfair practices, especially for X-ray and other ground floor services. Known persons are given priority numbers, and in some cases, people are asked for unofficial payments (“tea money”) to move ahead in the queue. Earlier, when I directly complained to the management about an eye doctor, only then did I receive proper service. On 6th February, I was again forced to approach the management and submit a written application for my patient’s treatment (attached). For the past three years, I have been visiting this hospital for various treatments and services. Medicines are often prescribed unnecessarily. In the female ward, since many patients do not raise complaints, nurses behave carelessly and sometimes rudely. They do not properly monitor medication schedules, and if questioned, they respond with threats or arguments. Due to such behavior, I had to take my patient home. The security guards and staff are extremely rude and arrogant. Each time, I have had to control the situation by warning them that I would file complaints with the management. Fake and manipulated reviews are being written in bulk by making patients stand in line and write them. Overall, this is a very poorly managed hospital with unsatisfactory services and inexperienced doctors.

The radiology department is very good. The staff are kind, helpful, and explain everything clearly. The tests are done carefully, and reports are given on time. The department is clean and organized. The only thing is, the time taken for certain pre tests/post tests is wau too long. Overall, it gives very good service to patients.

My name is Ranjit. My younger brother met with an accident in which his C6–C7 spine was damaged. The surgery was performed successfully, and his overall health condition is stable, though his lower body remains paralyzed. After 48 days, he was discharged. During this entire period, I personally observed everything. The hospital has many positive aspects, including support through government Yojana schemes, good cleanliness, and helpful housekeeping staff. The nursing staff (both sisters and brothers) are kind, dedicated, and hardworking. However, there is a shortage of nursing staff compared to the patient ratio, which should be improved. In the Neurology department, my personal experience was mixed. Some doctors are well-qualified academically but lack empathy and proper behavior, and at times patients are not treated with basic human sensitivity. This is not only my experience—I can confidently say that not a single patient or guardian treated under the Neurology department would deny this. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sayalee (Neurology). On the second day itself, I had decided to transfer my brother to another hospital due to the behavior of some doctors. However, Dr. Sayalee madam gave us hope, support, and confidence, which made us continue the treatment here. Once again, thank you to everyone involved in my brother’s care and support.
