My cataract was done for both eyes at Dr Gadgil Hospital in a span of two weeks. My recovery was fast and very happy with surgery. The staff was very polite and caring. Dr Gadgil has been a source of solace and an expert in his field. Highly recommend for surgery thru him. Thanks to Mrs Gadgil for the anesthesia and comforting post surgery.

Hi I am Namrata Rajesh Patkar I wanted to get rid of my glasses permanently. For that I some dr.'s advice was taken. I was advised to do PRK treatment. Then I went to dr in Thane. Visited Gadgil's hospital and took his advice. He checked my eyes very well and told me that I can get lasik treatment, I was very happy then and I got lasik treatment there. My experience that time was very good. The understanding of the doctor, the behavior of the staff there is very supportive.

I had a very disappointing experience at ASG Eye Care Hospital, Thane. I visited on 23rd August with my son Yuvan for an eye check-up because of frequent blinking. • First, I was charged ₹600 for consultation, which I paid. • Then they said eye drops were needed, and I was charged ₹500. To my surprise, the drops used were from an already opened bottle, not a fresh one — which is unhygienic and unsafe. • After the check-up, they recommended glasses (–0.5). I ordered them at the hospital’s own optical store, and they promised delivery in 2 days. However, it took 9–10 days (ready only on 1st September). • When I finally got the glasses, the frame was too small for my son. I immediately requested an exchange, and they agreed. • But when I went to the hospital again, it was closed. Only then they told me to go to another branch at Thane station. No prior information was given. Later, they even refused to replace the glasses at another branch, saying it must be done at the original hospital. This whole experience has been extremely inconvenient, time-wasting, and unprofessional. Using opened eye drops, delays in delivery, poor communication, and lack of responsibility for customer care are unacceptable — especially when it concerns children’s eye health. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service.
