Hospital Feedback – After 1 Week of Treatment 1. OPD & IVR Receptionists:
The staff were very supportive and efficient, even when we arrived late. They guided us smoothly through KYC and appointments. Special thanks to IVR for accommodating us after a long, confusing visit to another hospital. 2. Doctors:
I am grateful to Dr. Parag and Dr. Shantanu for their unwavering support, patience, and transparency. Despite many questions, they provided clear explanations, helping our family navigate this new and challenging situation. Both were humble and approachable throughout the week. Special thanks to Mr. Parag Ingle for his honesty and transparency. 3. Center Manager:
Mr. Vivek was polite, approachable, and explained the billing and insurance process clearly. 4. Billing Assistant Manager (D.K.):
I visited the hospital on Friday, 31st Oct 2025. After the PET scan, Dr. Parag advised staging lab tests and chemo port implantation, initially planned for 2nd Nov but performed on 5th Nov due to insurance and procedural delays. * D.K. was extremely rude, causing me significant stress and tension over the weekend, to the point I considered changing hospitals. Thanks to Dr. Parag’s support, I chose to continue treatment. * Surgery estimates under Mediassist TPA and MP Govt insurance were delayed; I was asked to select one option. * Room charges were quoted inconsistently; the general ward estimate was ₹2.78 lakh. * Insurance documents submitted Saturday evening faced delays, with persistent queries about my father’s medical history over the weekend. * On Monday, D.K. appeared frustrated and questioned prior submissions. * After contacting my insurance consultant directly, the cashless claim was pre-approved in 5 minutes with a condition regarding chemo drugs. 5. Billing Reception:
The receptionist guided me through wards, explained charges clearly, and assisted with revised estimates, providing reassurance. 6. RMO / Duty Manager:
Duty doctors were extremely busy, mainly handling administrative tasks, redirecting queries to nursing staff, and providing limited direct support to families. 7. Billing Manager (Zulesh):
He was polite, understanding, and assured me any financial concerns could be addressed at discharge. 8. Nursing Staff:
Many nurses were efficient and attentive. Some were less responsive, prioritizing personal matters over patient needs, requiring repeated reminders. 9. Housekeeping & Security:
Staff were vigilant and performed their duties admirably despite being short-staffed relative to patient numbers. Overall Experience:
Most staff demonstrated professionalism, patience, and support. Doctors and management were particularly helpful. Insurance coordination and nursing responsiveness could improve, but overall, the hospital staff made our week-long experience manageable and reassuring. Conclusion:
I sincerely hope someone reads this feedback. I am not seeking punitive action or singling anyone out. My intention is to ensure future patients are treated with dignity and respect. Visiting a hospital is often unavoidable, and families are under emotional stress. Even when treatment is covered by insurance, patients deserve respectful, professional care. Being made to feel small or humiliated during such a vulnerable time is unacceptable. Respect, patience, and clear communication should be standard for everyone. I hope this feedback encourages the hospital to ensure every patient feels valued and supported throughout their care.

I am writing this review out of genuine concern. The medicines prescribed by the doctor are not available in the hospital pharmacy. Every time I contact them, they say they will inform me once the medicine arrives — but it’s been almost a month now. This medicine is part of a treatment cycle that occurs every two weeks. Whenever I call Mr. Jitendra from the pharmacy, he always says that he has no idea when the medicine will be available, as their vendor doesn’t have stock. Surprisingly, the same medicine is available at HCG Bangalore and other HCG branches, but not at Nagpur. If the HCG Nagpur vendor doesn’t have the medicine, why can’t they arrange it from another vendor or branch? Should a patient’s treatment be delayed just because of poor coordination? Now, the pharmacy doesn’t even answer calls anymore. When I tried contacting the higher management of HCG Nagpur, the response was simply, “It’s not our department.” Everyone says the same thing — no one takes responsibility. Mr. Jitendra, the Pharmacy Head, doesn’t answer calls either. Where should the patient go in such a situation? We’ve been undergoing treatment here for the last five years. If medicines are not available at the hospital or pharmacy, whose responsibility is it? Is there any single concerned authority at HCG Nagpur who can take accountability? Sadly, it seems no.
