I am utterly shocked and deeply disappointed by the appalling conditions I witnessed at Jaswant Rai Speciality Hospital, which pose a severe risk to patient safety, hygiene, and human dignity. This facility should be immediately investigated and shut down until it meets even the most basic healthcare and sanitation standards. There is no regard for cleanliness, hygiene, or infection control. Patient care materials such as bed sheets, blankets, and hospital gowns are openly stored on dirty floors in public areas, exposing them to contamination before being used for patients. During my father’s critical knee replacement procedure, I saw firsthand the negligence and unsafe practices at this hospital: • Bed sheets were found with insects, later brought into the patient room. • Nursing staff on night duty were asleep at the nursing station, leaving patients completely unattended. • Medical procedures such as blood draws and insulin injections were being performed without gloves, violating every standard of hygiene and safety. • Urine drainage bags were hanging dangerously close to the dirty floor, creating high risk of infection and contamination. To make matters worse, Jaswant Rai Speciality Hospital is reportedly managed by retired military officers — a Colonel and a BSF Officer — serving as CEO and Supervisor respectively. It is deeply disappointing that under their leadership, such poor standards are allowed to exist. They have failed in their duty to ensure discipline, safety, and basic medical protocols expected in any healthcare facility. It is alarming to see how this hospital continues to operate in 2025, ignoring fundamental hygiene, safety, and patient care standards. Even more concerning is the influx of medical students and resident doctors being trained in such an environment. One can only imagine the long-term damage this will cause to the quality of medical care in the future if these practices are normalized. I sincerely hope that the health authorities, hospital accreditation boards, and administrative departments will intervene immediately, conduct a thorough inspection of Jaswant Rai Speciality Hospital, and take strict corrective actions. This is essential not only to protect the lives and safety of current patients, but also to restore public trust in the healthcare system serving our community.

I admitted in the hospital for Gallbladder Surgery on 3/9/2025. Dr Uttam Jain, MS (Surgery) operated the surgery successfully. Dr Rajeev Agarwal, MD (Medicine) & DM (Cardiology) was present at the time of my operation. Dr Uttam and Dr Rajeev Agarwal both were compassionate, best professional and having expertise in their field. Dr Amit provide us well care and guidance at the time of admission. Ms Neetu in nursing staff was very trained. Captain Omkar Sharma Sir is also very co-operative and helping in nature, such type of officials are the asset of an institution. Eventually I would like to pay gratitude to Dr. Uttam Jain, Dr. Rajeev Agarwal Sir. May God give them a long life with prosperity and good health. Overall Jaswant Rai Speciality Hospital, Meerut is very good. I wish them all a good luck.

My experience during the surgery of my mother is very good. TPA office staff did their job very efficiently. All staff members are very polite and give instant response. We had penal of star health and we didn’t have to ask even once, on time we got everything ready and discharged on time. Thank u very much Jaswant Rai hospital Team.

Worst Hospital Experience Ever – Do Not Recommend Sushila Jaswant Rai Hospital is the most unprofessional hospital I have ever come across. The staff and doctors have absolutely no basic ethics and no sense of how to talk to a patient’s family. They are extremely money-minded and only focus on extracting money rather than treating the patient. My father was admitted in ICU, and instead of providing proper care, they made his condition worse. He became more weak and ill due to their negligence. They took huge amounts of money and did nothing in return. This hospital is only about business, not patient care. Strict action should be taken against such hospitals. Please think twice before trusting them with your loved ones’ health.
