The doctors are highly experienced and take time to explain the problem and treatment clearly. I felt very comfortable and confident throughout my consultation. The diagnosis was accurate, and the overall process was smooth without unnecessary delays. Truly one of the best eye hospitals in the area with the best doctors and caring staff. Dr.Sushma Tejwani has done cataract surgery for my dad and chikappa. The doctor is extremely efficient and positive, spends time to explain the procedure. We are very happy with the service provided NN Bommasandra, special thanks to the staff and nursing team.

Although the surgery was successful, our experience with some of the nursing and billing staff was very disappointing. As instructed, we reached the hospital at 7:30 AM. My mother's blood sugar level was checked, and we were asked to wait. We waited for nearly one hour, but no one informed us about the result. When we finally approached the nurse, she claimed that she had already informed us that my mother's sugar level was slightly high and that the surgery could not be performed. This was simply not true. We explained that she had never communicated this to us, but instead of listening, she argued with us. After my mother walked for some time, her blood sugar was checked again, and this time the nurse said it was normal and that the surgery could proceed. This unnecessary confusion caused significant stress and anxiety. Patients undergoing surgery are already emotionally vulnerable, and clear communication and compassionate guidance from the staff are extremely important. Our experience became worse at the billing counter. I politely requested the billing staff to arrange a meeting with the Nursing Head so that I could share our concerns. Instead of responding professionally, the staff member said, "We didn't do anything. You are paying the bill late, so we are also delaying." This was an insensitive and unprofessional response. I respectfully request Dr. Rohith Shetty, Mrs. Nayana Shetty, and Dr. Naren Shetty to look into this matter. Narayana Nethralaya is known for its excellent doctors, infrastructure, and patient facilities. However, these efforts lose their value if some staff members fail to communicate respectfully and treat patients with empathy. Please sensitise the nursing and billing staff to guide and communicate with patients politely, especially those undergoing surgery. A little kindness and proper communication can make a huge difference. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that other patients and their families do not have to go through a similar experience.
