What patients say
946 on GoogleI had a very disappointing experience during my first visit to Shri Ram Murti Smarak Hospital, Bareilly. First of all, when we arrived at the emergency department, the patient had to wait from 6 PM to 9 PM just to get admitted. Imagine a patient in an emergency condition waiting in the lobby for almost 3 hours for admission. This is completely unacceptable for a hospital that claims to provide emergency services. It honestly felt like the hospital had just opened that day and no one knew their responsibilities. One staff member kept passing the work to another. Even for a small task, the doctor had to instruct multiple people repeatedly, and only then the work was done after a long delay. Another major concern was the behavior of the doctors and staff. During rounds, the doctor was arguing with the patient and the patient’s family members, which is extremely unprofessional. Doctors should know how to communicate respectfully with patients, especially when they are already under stress. What was even more surprising was that no one seemed ready to take responsibility—whether it was the cleaning staff, shifting staff, or even the doctors. Everyone seemed to behave in the same careless way, and there was no sense of accountability. During this time, many hospital staff members were busy watching the Indian cricket match instead of attending patients, which was very disturbing to see in an emergency environment. This was my first visit to this hospital, and unfortunately it will also be my last. I would honestly advise others that if possible, it is better to visit a government hospital where at least staff understand basic medical ethics and how to treat patients with respect. I strongly believe that doctors are considered second to God, but if they lack basic manners and empathy, it becomes very difficult for patients to trust the treatment. My humble request to the senior management of the hospital is to please take ownership of these issues and provide proper training to doctors and staff regarding patient handling, communication, and responsibility. I sincerely hope the hospital management takes this feedback seriously and improves its services.
Terrible experience of mine. Already they are charging dearly for all services that too provided by the practicing interns only. So much mismanagement is there and none of the staff is responsible. I continuously asked for my ultrasound report waiting 2.5hours .. Still the staff was not interested clearly telling me when will i get it. They are just into a job jisko bas jaldi se jaldi krke before time niklna h.. No accountability at all.. There was a lady also on a wheelchair with a drip or smthng.. They made her wait too for around 1.5hrs.. All i want to say is.. Nam bade or darshan chote. Fancy infrastructure doesn't mean quality services. For that managemnt need to be strict. Which i think is vividly not serious because people are complaining for the same for months still no action nothing.. Just answering all reviewers "we will look into this, we are sorry" And what not. Wasted my time and money 👎👎
My mother was admitted to the Neurosurgery Department for cervical spine surgery at Shriram Murti Medical Sciences, Bhojipura. Unfortunately, our experience was very upsetting. The ICU staff (abousing all paintent)and Ayushman counter staff( "Mr. Gaurav and Miss. Kajal "counter.1&2 )behaved very rudely and were not supportive. During such a critical time, attendants expect basic respect and proper communication, but instead we faced misbehavior and an unprofessional attitude. Additionally, the doctor did not clearly explain the patient’s condition, treatment plan, or risks to the family. As attendants, we were left confused and worried because there was no proper discussion about her medical status. A hospital should maintain transparency, compassion, and respectful behaviour—especially in serious cases like spine surgery. And assistant Doctor are not serious with patients I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously and improves communication and staff behaviour for future patients.
The nursing staff's communication is not good. They speak very angrily (specially the ICU female staff). Communication is poor. The security team is good. i request the management and nursing superintendent to take action on this.
