What patients say
3,544 on GoogleI recently had my delivery in Welcare Hospital. I was super comfortable and confident throughout the delivery with the support of the Dr. Indu and all the nurses, doctors. I got admitted around 4 o clock in the morning as emergency. From that time and throughout the time, the support i received was amazing. Overall very satisfied with the labour suite (normal delivery), room, room service, food and additional services like dietician, physiotherapy etc.. Thank you.
I had an excellent experience with my ENT surgeon Dr.Elizabeth Charian From the first consultation, where very patient, attentive, and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options clearly. The surgery went smoothly, and I felt confident throughout the entire process because of their professionalism and expertise. The doctor and the entire staff were kind, supportive, and well organized. My recovery has been much better than I expected, and the follow-up care has been outstanding. I truly appreciate the care and dedication shown. I highly recommend this ENT surgeon to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled specialist.
My wife was admitted to this hospital on December 31st for delivery. We were mentally prepared for all medical procedures. However, the admission process itself started with confusion. We were asked to wait because the hospital stated there was no bedsheet available for the room we had already booked. As a temporary arrangement, we were shifted to a suite room. Although the quality did not justify the quoted tariff(pics attached)of 11,500/- to be fair, this room charge was not included in the final bill. Later that night, despite clearly informing the receptionist that we would not shift rooms at night due to my wife’s condition, a staff member came around 10:30 PM and insisted that we move immediately since the originally booked room had become available. This caused unnecessary stress at a very sensitive time, and only after a prolonged discussion were we allowed to stay without shifting. On New Year morning, my wife was taken to the labour room. Attempts were made for normal delivery, and during this process she was shifted to a labour suite for a few hours. We had booked a delivery package of ₹80,000, and at no point was there clear communication about the cost implications of these steps. After a few hours, when normal delivery was ruled out, she was shifted back to the originally booked labour room. Eventually, we were informed that a C-section was required. While we understand that medical decisions can change based on the patient’s condition, the lack of clear explanation and advance communication added to our anxiety. On January 2nd, my wife delivered a healthy baby girl. The major concern began on January 3rd, when a pediatrician informed us of an oxygen variation and advised shifting our baby to the NICU. This was unexpected, as our baby appeared active, comfortable, and showed no visible signs of distress. Still, prioritizing safety, we agreed to the NICU admission. After NICU admission, my wife—who is a doctor herself—experienced severe emotional distress, especially after receiving conflicting opinions from other pediatricians outside, who felt NICU admission may not have been necessary based on the parameters explained to us. Later that afternoon, we were urgently called to the NICU and informed that oxygen support would be initiated and that 48 hours of observation would be required. Initially, when I expressed concern and asked about discharge, the response lacked empathy. My wife, who had walked to the NICU despite a recent C-section, returned to the room in a wheelchair, emotionally and physically exhausted. After consulting other doctors, we decided to cooperate fully and gave complete consent for all investigations, including ECHO and any other tests deemed necessary. All tests were conducted, and we were finally informed that everything was normal and that our baby could be discharged. What confused us was that although we were initially told observation would require 2–3 days, all investigations and clearance were completed within a single day. The billing experience was the final shock. Despite being informed that the delivery package was ₹80,000, the final bill for my wife came close to ₹1,00,000. When questioned, we were told that the additional amount was due to a combination of factors—including charges related to attempted normal delivery in suite room which i never asked, extended supervision and safety monitoring, and additional days considered under the normal-delivery protocol, and not merely due to one single item. In addition, our newborn—who was ultimately declared healthy—received a NICU bill of approximately ₹30,000. While I respect the medical profession, this experience felt driven more by protocols and billing structures than by empathy and transparent communication. The hospital’s tagline says “Your health, our concern”, but based on what we went through, it felt otherwise(logo attached).I am deeply dissatisfied with the overall service and strongly advise others to seek clear explanations and cost transparency before proceeding.
The hospital has excellent facilities and provides outstanding service. My father was admitted for CVTS with several complications that prolonged his hospital stay due to his critical condition. During this difficult time, the CVTS ICU staff did not just provide medical treatment; they supported him with immense empathy and care both inside and outside the ICU. Their compassion helped him recover not only physically but also mentally from everything he had gone through. Considering his condition and age, he required ventilator support and an extended ICU stay. Throughout this period, the doctors provided exceptional care. They did not only treat him with medications but also gave him hope, counselling, and the mental strength he needed before, during, and after his surgery to aid his recovery. One of the most touching moments was when the ICU staff celebrated his birthday with warm wishes and thoughtful gestures. It truly amazed me to see such dedication, kindness, and empathy from the staff toward their patients. I often think about how difficult this situation would have been if he had not been treated in a hospital with such compassionate and capable professionals. When we entrust our loved ones to doctors, we place immense faith in their hands. I can confidently say that Welcare is a hospital I would always return to, as they truly live up to their promise of providing excellent service, advanced facilities, and highly skilled doctors. Thank you so much to the entire team for the care and support you gave my father and our family during such a challenging time.
