I had a confirmed 9:30 a.m. appointment and was instructed to arrive by 9:15 a.m., which I did. Registration and payment were completed on time. Despite this, the doctor arrived late and patients without appointments were repeatedly taken ahead of me. When I politely asked for clarification regarding my scheduled appointment, the nurse responded in a dismissive and disrespectful manner, stating that consultations were being handled on a “first-come, first-served” basis. This was both insulting and contradictory, given that appointments are actively booked and paid for. Due to the continued delays, I requested a refund. At the PRO desk, I experienced further unprofessional behavior—staff were distracted by phone calls and messages while addressing my concern, kept me waiting unnecessarily, and showed little urgency or accountability. The refund was processed only after additional escalation. Offering scheduled appointments while ignoring them, combined with disrespectful staff conduct, reflects poorly on the hospital’s patient management and professionalism. From my very first consultation, Dr. Rajini mam examined me thoroughly and explained everything in a clear and understandable way. The care, professionalism, and personal attention we received were exceptional from start to finish. A special mention to Miss Nisha, the secretary of Dr. Hafeez, and Mr. Santhosh for their outstanding support and coordination. Also, AGM Mrs. Shilly deserves appreciation for ensuring everything went smoothly. The nursing staff were extremely kind, attentive, and caring throughout our stay. For my elder daughter, he has been there since she was four years old, and now she is sixteen. Even today, just walking into his consultation room brings her a sense of calm and reassurance, which itself speaks volumes about the trust and comfort he builds with his little patients. From his previous hospital to his present service at Sunrise Hospital, the bond he shares with every child and parent is truly beautiful.
