I recently visited Ahinsadham for medical consultation. While the doctor’s consultation fee is budget-friendly, my overall experience was not satisfactory. The consultation time was extremely short — approximately 2 to 5 minutes — and I felt that the medical examination was not conducted thoroughly. Additionally, the doctor’s communication was not very patient-friendly, and the interaction felt rushed and somewhat discourteous. My experience at the in-house pharmacy was also disappointing. Despite the display encouraging patients to purchase generic medicines, when I requested generic alternatives, the staff responded rudely and insisted on providing private branded medicines instead. The behavior of the pharmacy staff towards patients and attendants lacked professionalism and basic courtesy. Although the consultation fee is affordable, the cost of medicines was quite high.

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the unprofessional and rude behavior of Dr. S.K. Goyal during my recent visit to his clinic. The doctor’s consultation timing was listed as 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and I arrived on time with my mother for a follow-up visit. During our initial consultation, Dr. Goyal clearly stated that I could return with my reports the next day without paying the consultation fee again. However, when I returned as instructed, he demanded that I pay the fee again, which I did—despite being told otherwise. After that, his behavior turned extremely rude and dismissive. He began shouting at both me and my mother, claiming he had 25 patients to see and told us to return the following Saturday. When my mother explained that I had already taken multiple leaves from work and wouldn’t be able to come again, he responded with more shouting and complete disregard for our situation. To make matters worse, a woman arrived after the scheduled time (around 4:45 PM), and the doctor attended to her without taking any consultation fee, claiming falsely that she was a reference from another doctor—which I know to be untrue. This double standard in treatment was both unethical and upsetting. It is clear that Dr. Goyal’s approach is more focused on monetary gain than patient care. His rude and discriminatory behavior was highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress to me and my elderly mother. I urge the concerned authorities to look into this matter seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that other patients are not subjected to the same experience.

This is not a charitable hospital, these people favour the patients. This is a favour hospital. The doctor is always angry, he does not listen, he only scolds the patient. He is in a hurry, the patient does not know what to say after seeing all this. He only prescribes medicine. I am sharing my experience after my experience today Date: 6/12/2025 Today we met Dr. Kirti Jain (Gynaecologist). For check-up. I have been on medicine for 3 months already on her advice. She had told us at that time to take medicine first and then come back, it was a 3 months course. Today, after the medicine was over, when we went for a checkup again, they told us that we had to come in the middle... whereas nothing like this was said to us at that time... after that we are only being proved to be fools and nothing else, this is not right.

Worst Experience at Ahinsa Dham Bhagwan Mahaveer Medical Centre This is truly heartbreaking and disappointing to write, but after facing the same issue twice, I feel it is important to speak up so others are aware. This is not a restaurant or a shopping place — this is a hospital, where people come in stressful medical situations, often with elderly patients who depend completely on their attendants. Families are already mentally disturbed, and what they expect is basic humanity, not arrogance. My elderly mother recently had an eye operation here. I went for a routine follow-up check-up with her. The OPD was in the basement where there is absolutely no mobile network. As an attendant, I cannot leave my old mother alone and go outside just to make a phone call. I urgently needed to contact my family, so I politely requested the staff if they could help me connect to Wi-Fi. I was bluntly told, “Wi-Fi is only for doctors, not for the public.” I didn’t argue and stayed quiet. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again the next week. There was a long queue and hours of waiting. My mother urgently needed to talk to my father, but again — no network. I approached a senior nurse very politely and explained that it was an emergency and requested Wi-Fi access for just 5 minutes. Her response was extremely rude, arrogant, and insensitive. She ignored the urgency and told me to “take your mother upstairs.” I tried to explain calmly — my mother is old, has difficulty walking, and recently underwent surgery. How is it possible to move her upstairs just to make a phone call? Despite repeated polite requests, she shamelessly refused. What shocked me the most was that guards, staff members, and even that same nurse were freely using the Wi-Fi. I personally saw staff members scrolling on phones and watching YouTube. So the claim that “Wi-Fi is only for doctors” was clearly a lie. This hospital is run in the name of Bhagwan Mahaveer and Ahinsa (non-violence and compassion), but there is no compassion for patients or their families. Emergencies don’t come with appointments. Anyone can need to make an urgent call — especially attendants of elderly patients who cannot leave them alone. Many other people around us were also complaining about the same issue, but no one was ready to listen. My intention is not to defame, but when something happens twice and the response is arrogant and disrespectful, it becomes necessary to raise a voice. Running a hospital is not just a business. It is sewa (service). If basic humanity is missing, then using God’s name to run such an institution is deeply shameful. I am attaching the photo of the lady staff member who behaved arrogantly, so that the management can identify and take responsibility. Very disappointing, very insensitive, and absolutely unacceptable behavior from a medical institution.
