Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) is one of the most reliable government cancer centers in Eastern India. It provides comprehensive, evidence-based cancer care at very affordable cost. The doctors are experienced, dedicated, and patient-focused, with multidisciplinary services including oncology, surgery, radiotherapy, diagnostics, and pain & palliative care. Despite heavy patient load and long waiting times typical of a high-volume government hospital, the quality of treatment and commitment to patient care stand out. A vital institute for those seeking trustworthy and affordable cancer care.

For last 3 years I'm coming here for my father's treatment. CNCI Newtown is a gem among the other service providers but I'm writing this review for betterment of service. A senior receptionist named Mr Gautam Raut looks reluctant to provide service with compassion compared to other juniors. He is deliberately slowing the process & intentionally forces the patient parties to shift from his line to other line. I was observing him for atleast 40 minutes. In this duration he attained only 2 files where other receptionists attained 2-3 times more files. Administration & HR should look into his job orientation. It's an unbiased feedback only for the betterment of this marvelous institution.

My visit to this facility was completely unsatisfactory 👎. Despite the seemingly vast infrastructure, the staff, including doctors and nurses, were rude and unprofessional 😠. Even during an emergency, bringing water for a patient was met with hostility from security and doctors, which is unacceptable 😡. Their conduct is truly bringing this institution down 😟.

**Exceptional Oncology Care at CNCI Campus 2 – A Government Gem!** As a frequent visitor to Kolkata's medical landscape, CNCI Campus 2 at Newtown stands out as an absolute benchmark for government-run healthcare facilities. What truly sets it apart is the unmatched infrastructure – state-of-the-art operation theaters equipped with cutting-edge robotic surgery systems, advanced radiation oncology suites with the latest linear accelerators, and spacious, well-ventilated patient wards that rival private hospitals. The diagnostic wing boasts high-resolution PET-CT scanners and molecular imaging labs that deliver precise, timely results, making it a powerhouse for oncology treatment. From my experience, the multidisciplinary tumor boards bring together top oncologists, urologists, and radiologists for personalized care plans, especially for urologic and prostate cancers. The campus's seamless integration of research labs with clinical services means patients benefit from ongoing clinical trials and innovative therapies without the premium price tag. Cleanliness is impeccable, with dedicated infection control protocols, and the staff's warmth adds a human touch to this high-tech haven. Parking is ample, navigation is intuitive, and even amenities like the cafeteria offer healthy, affordable options. CNCI Campus 2 proves that government setups can deliver world-class facilities without compromising accessibility. Highly recommended for anyone seeking superior cancer care in Kolkata!

CNCI hospital is well maintained and cleanliness is good across most areas. Queue management is systematic and properly handled. Visual boards and signages are available, which makes navigation easier for patients and attendants. Doctors are helpful and supportive, and the overall treatment process is well guided. Treatment and test costs are comparatively low and affordable, which is a major benefit for middle and lower-income families. The hospital canteen is also good and provides subsidised meals, which is very helpful during long hospital visits.
