I had a very disappointing experience at Aravind vision Care eye Hospital. Please do read the below before considering this eye hospital. We initially visited for a cataract consultation. The doctors first suggested a monofocal lens and informed us that they generally do not recommend multifocal lenses for diabetic patients. However, the doctor suggested both lenses during the surgery time, we got confused and whenever we had questions or doubts, no one was willing to provide clear answers. When we tried asking the staff downstairs, they told us to speak with the doctor. When we met the doctor, a nurse stood beside us and answered most of our questions instead of the doctor. Whenever we asked multiple questions to the doctor directly for clarity, he dismissed our concerns by saying that those questions should be asked at the pharmacy. Since everyone assured us that the surgery would go well, and the Google reviews also reflects the positive feedbacks so we proceeded with the surgery. After the surgery, my mother complained that her vision was still blurry. We returned to the hospital seeking clarification, the doctor said it was all good no need to worry but her vision is really not well and no one took our concerns seriously. Instead of examining her properly or explaining the situation, they simply told us to watch a post-surgery video that had been sent on WhatsApp and follow up with the eye drops that's been directed. What upset us the most was the doctor's response when we explained that her vision remained blurry and there are some white dots covered while watching. He said, there is no issue if you are repeating this then “At this point, we need to check your brain,” which felt extremely insensitive and unprofessional. The doctor said it is your existing retina issue only but all of sudden we don't understand what's the existing retina issue.. they only told us everything is good we can go with the surgery and after surgery when we had complaints they said it is your existing retina issue otherthan that everything is fine. Our question is like if they already notice retina issue then why would they suggest surgery and after surgery they should be responsible for that but they didn't. We are completely frustrated. No one seems willing to take responsibility or provide proper explanations. When patients spend their hard-earned money on eye surgery, they place their trust in the doctors and hospital. The least they deserve is patience, respect, and clear communication. Patients come from different educational backgrounds, and it is the doctor's responsibility to explain things in a way they can understand. Unfortunately, we did not experience that here. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing this hospital.

Dr. Arvind is the Best and Precise Doctor for Eye Surgery. He has done an excellent job correcting both the cataract and the power (in both eyes) for my Wife. The post surgery experience was also very nice with return to normal activities within a short period of five days. She is no more dependent on spectacles now with a clear vision, thanks to Dr. Arvind. The support staff and the the review doctors are also very pleasant.
