As my wife and I were having breakfast, I saw Dr. Sanjay Cherian quietly sit beside us—eating the same Pongal, at the same table, without expecting anyone to recognise him or offer special treatment. He even moved his table closer, blending in with everyone else like a fellow human being rather than a senior doctor.
