What patients say
2,652 on GoogleDear Management Team, Indus Hospital, I am writing this letter to formally register a complaint regarding the extremely poor facilities and services experienced during the admission of my father and my grandfather at Indus Hospital. We chose your hospital specifically because of Dr. Amit Soni, but unfortunately the overall hospital management and patient care were far below acceptable standards. I would like to highlight the following serious concerns: 1. Unhygienic Conditions (Flies in ICU and Rooms): A large number of flies were present in both the ICU and patient rooms. Despite repeated complaints to the nursing and support staff, no corrective action was taken. This posed a serious risk, especially since patients were already suffering from infections. When this issue was escalated to Dr. Amit Soni, he reprimanded the staff, after which the unit head intervened and stated that the flies were due to a nearby gau shala. Shockingly, the hospital management expressed unwillingness to take any further mitigation or preventive measures to address this hygiene issue. 2. Severe Shortage of Support Staff: The hospital was critically understaffed, particularly helpers (brown dress staff). Only one male helper was managing the entire floor and was clearly overburdened. On Sunday, only one helper was available, despite weekends being peak times for emergencies. Due to the absence of timely assistance, my father—who was unable to walk to the bathroom—called for help repeatedly but no one responded. As a result, he was forced to urinate on the bed, which was extremely humiliating and unacceptable for any patient. 3. Non-Availability of Ambulance and Attendant Services on Sunday: On Sunday, when we needed to take my quadriparalyzed grandfather back home, we were informed that no ambulance driver was available and that the hospital does not provide ambulance services on Sundays. We were instructed to arrange a private ambulance on our own. Additionally, the hospital refused to send any attendant along with the patient. As I had arrived in my own car, I was compelled to park it and personally accompany my grandfather in the ambulance to ensure his safety. These incidents reflect serious lapses in hospital management, hygiene standards, staffing, and emergency preparedness. Such negligence not only causes distress to patients and families but also puts patients’ lives at risk. I request the hospital management to look into this matter urgently, take corrective action, and ensure that no other patient or family has to face such an experience in the future.
Thanks to the great indus hospital. My mother was operated by Dr. Ravinder Puri for ankle surgery and for the whole 3 days everything went smoothly, till date there has been no worries and everything is fine. Staff was very well mannered and patient with us, Jaspreet sister was very patient during crucial hours, I 100% recommend it. Patient welfare department is working at it’s best.
Excellent hospital with highly professional, skilled, and supportive staff from doctors to cleaning teams, working tirelessly for patient care(Great team work). Received exceptional gynecological treatment from Dr. Charu Goyal, with great support from Unit Head Varsha ma’am.Bhavna ma’am assisted us right from admission to discharge. Hospital food is good and tasty for patients, better than the canteen—overall a comfortable experience.
Dr. Charu Goyal is a very kind, patient, and knowledgeable doctor. She listens carefully to every concern and explains things clearly, which gives a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Her guidance and treatment are always accurate and supportive. I am truly grateful for her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and trustworthy doctor. “Bhawana ma’am is very polite, supportive and professional. Unhone har cheez clearly explain ki aur patient ka poora dhyaan rakha. Unki wajah se hospital experience kaafi comfortable raha. Really thankful to her.”
