I recently underwent a leg operation under the care of Dr. Narendra Vaidya, and I am extremely grateful for the outstanding treatment I received. From the very first consultation to the final discharge, everything was handled with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Dr. Narendra Vaidya is truly exceptional — highly skilled, experienced, and incredibly patient in explaining every detail about the procedure and recovery. His confidence and expertise gave me a lot of comfort and trust, and the surgery was performed perfectly. I could not have asked for a better doctor. The hospital staff was equally amazing. The nurses, ward boys, and support team were always attentive, polite, and ready to help at any hour. They made sure I was comfortable, regularly checked on my pain levels, kept the environment clean, and supported me through each step of the recovery process. Their caring attitude really made my stay smooth and stress-free. The hospital facilities were clean, well-maintained, and well-organized. The overall management, coordination, and hygiene were excellent. I am truly satisfied with my entire experience and grateful to Dr. Narendra Vaidya and the whole hospital team for their dedication and support. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for expert treatment, compassionate care, and a trustworthy medical team

Public Advisory and Statement of Facts I strongly advise patients and their families to exercise extreme caution and think thousands of times before undergoing a total knee replacement at this hospital. In February 2025, my mother underwent knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Narendra Vaidya. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful. Despite multiple follow-up visits (3–4 times), Dr. Vaidya failed to conduct a proper clinical examination. Consultations were conducted briefly—often in the corridor, lasting no more than 10 seconds—without any meaningful interaction, assessment, or explanation of the patient’s condition. At every stage, the hospital staff demanded additional payments for basic services, indicating a system focused primarily on financial gain rather than patient care. Concerned about my mother’s worsening condition, we sought a second medical opinion. The consulting doctor clearly stated that the implant had not been properly placed and advised that my mother would require revision surgery—meaning she would have to undergo surgery twice due to the initial failure. When we returned to Dr. Narendra Vaidya to seek clarification, instead of addressing the medical issue or taking responsibility, he behaved in an unprofessional and derogatory manner. He spoke to his staff in English, assuming we were illiterate, and referred to our family as “mental.” He also made defamatory remarks about the doctor who provided the second opinion, rather than focusing on resolving the patient’s problem. Ultimately, instead of offering a medical solution, he advised hospital admission for three days for physiotherapy and demanded an advance payment of ₹50,000 solely for physiotherapy, without any justification or assurance of improvement. This experience reflects a serious lack of medical ethics, professionalism, accountability, and patient respect. Based on our ordeal, I strongly urge everyone to carefully reconsider before choosing this hospital for any major surgical procedure.

My mother-in-law had a knee replacement surgery at Lokmanya Hospital, Nigdi, recently and the experience was absolutely great. She was kept in the General Ward, Room 205, and it was clean, cozy, and well-kept. Special thanks to Dr. Vaidya for his brilliant skill, care, and good communication that made the whole process easy and comforting for our family. We’re also very grateful to Dr. Mane, who guided us right from admission — explaining the how, why, and what of the surgery in a way we could easily understand — which gave us complete confidence in the process. The nursing crew and support staff were highly attentive, caring, and cooperative throughout the process — from check-in to post-surgery recuperation. They took care to keep her at ease and attended to all her needs the best way they could. What mattered even more to us was that the treatment itself was highly cost-effective — nearly 40% lower than other hospitals providing comparable services — without diluting the quality of care. Overall, the hospital facilities, hygiene, patient-friendliness, and pricing were all much beyond our expectations. We are all thankful to Dr. Vaidya and the entire staff of Lokmanya Hospital for making this such a pleasant and effortless experience for my mother-in-law. Highly recommended!

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff (cleaning staff) and nurses were extremely quick, attentive, and supportive. Thank you for the excellent care. Last but not the Least, I would like to Thank You Dr S Kulkarni. Dr. Suprashant Kulkarni is an excellent surgeon. He has been very calm, patient, and extremely helpful throughout the process. His reassuring words truly helped relieve our stress and gave us confidence during a difficult time. We are very grateful for his care and support. Thank You once again
