I visited the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, to attend a training programme organized by the Income Tax Department. The facility is well maintained, and the seminar hall is spacious and well-equipped, comfortably accommodating around 200 participants. However, the availability of car parking is inadequate during large seminars and training programmes, which creates inconvenience for visitors. Overall, it is a good research and training facility with excellent infrastructure for academic and professional events.
Very good institute doing some cutting edge research in the field of Biotechnology. PhDs and post-docs are of high scientific acumen. They also run a masters program. Labs are equipped with modern equipments. Highly recommend RGCB for higher education
