I approached *Dr. Ashish Shankhdhar* regarding a short-term pathology internship required for academic purposes. During our interaction, I was met with a very discouraging and demotivating response by him. Certain remarks made during the conversation felt unnecessary and disheartening for a student genuinely seeking guidance. After this, I went to the HR department for confirmation and was informed that the hospital does provide internship opportunities, and my resume was accepted. This made the earlier interaction with him even more disappointing. I fully respect that selection decisions vary, but I believe students deserve respectful and constructive communication, even in cases of refusal. Professional guidance should encourage growth, not discourage it.
