I underwent eyelid surgery at Giridhar Eye Institute, and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. After my accident, I was worried I might never look the same again, but now there’s barely a visible mark. The result exceeded my expectations. The overall experience was excellent. Everyone — from the reception staff to the surgeon — was kind, professional, and genuinely supportive. Even though the emergency department was quite busy, the team remained attentive and compassionate throughout. I also had a very smooth experience with the insurance process, which was handled efficiently and without hassle. Highly grateful for the care I received.

The security staff didn't allow two bystanders with our 7 years old patient, who needs to be taken care of by both the parents. Previously, when the Paediatrics Department was located in the old building, two bystanders were allowed. Moreover, there were no basic facilities for the bystanders to wait outside the Paediatrics building. They should have provided at least some chairs as we have to wait outside for hours. We would appreciate appropriate measures being taken to address these issues and prevent such inconveniences in the future.

The security staff did not permit two bystanders to accompany my 5-year-old patient, which is quite challenging as young children typically require additional parental support. Moreover, this rule is not being applied consistently. While we were denied entry, we observed that some other patients were allowed to enter with two bystanders. This inconsistent enforcement feels unfair and causes significant inconvenience. Additionally, there is no proper waiting area for bystanders outside the Paediatric Building. Many of us were forced to wait for 2–3 hours without basic facilities such as chairs, proper shelter, or seating arrangements. This is especially difficult for families with young children or elderly members. Appropriate measures be taken to ensure atleast consistent enforcement of entry rules and to provide basic waiting facilities outside the Paediatric Building for the comfort and safety of visitors.

All the staff were very efficient and kind. Prompt services in every way. Could see by the number of patients who come there for treatment every day,come because of the trust they have for the doctors and others who treat them. A big Thank you for the excellent care.

We had a wonderful experience at the hospital. The staff are genuinely caring ,making the whole process easy and comfortable. The place is well-organized, clean, and everything is done smoothly without any delay. Our doctor, Dr. Abhilash Nair is very good in explaining the issues in detail with us.
