Very disappointed Came for second opinion at HCG Hospital on Double Road, and the experience was very disappointing., and we were prepared to pay the amount quoted to us. However, the charges shown on the portal were different from what we were told at the hospital. Although we were okay with the revised amount, the overall experience took a negative turn due to the behavior of the staff. The doctor, Dr. Govind Babu, was particularly upsetting in his approach. He did not communicate clearly and simply asked us to bring the patient. If that was a requirement, it should have been informed beforehand. Before visiting, I had called the reception to book an appointment and clearly mentioned that the patient would not be accompanying us. The receptionist assured me that it was fine and that the doctor had been informed. Given that, the doctor’s response was both confusing and disappointing. What troubled me even more was the attitude of the staff. From the front office team to the IP coordinator, Mr. Amruth, and even the nurse—no one seemed to have the patience to listen or understand our situation. It felt like our concerns did not matter to them at all. This issue was related to a refund process, and I don’t understand why something so straightforward had to be made so complicated. Even now, the refund has not been processed, which only adds to the frustration. Overall, my experience at HCG was very poor. That said, I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Pratibha from the MSW department. She was the only person who treated us with patience and understanding. She explained everything clearly and handled both the situation and the people involved with professionalism and care. Her support made a significant difference during a stressful time. If not for her, we might not have left the hospital with any clarity at all she convinced us and helped ease the situation. Thank you, Prathibha, for your help. I sincerely hope the refund is processed soon. Please I am requesting everyone not to do this to other patients. Very disappointed

Good supportive doctor and staffs. Very attentive and friendly. We are consulting with Dr B J Srinivas and he has done a stellar job in treating my mother. Deepika from insurance/ billing was very helpful and very prompt with her work. Hcg has improved tremendously over the years.

Overall there have been a good experience. The hospital has modest infrastructure, (they are trying to renovate a old building) but the staffs, doctors , nurses go beyond their call of duty. It’s a small hospital so there is no running around from building to building. And admission and onboarding is rather fast. Most specialist doctors sit out of HCG Kalinga Rao road, but they do come on rounds every day morning. The duty doctors were amazing too, dr.Hitha , Dr. Prathiba, Dr. Meghala they were listening to patient confers. Dietician Nikitha checked with patients knowing about your entire week, I think nutrition is a very very underrated aspect about cancer treatment, she does it well!! We had reception staffs indhu keerthi monisha Shailaja Arshitha and few others they were cooperative throughout. Nurses, I would do a lot of injustice if I don’t name everyone here, it would be a roll call if in have to name everyone here. Again phenomenal care, and diligent. Every nurse served us with smile and provided a lot care. They are the hardest working in the hospital, most imp piece in the hospital. Admin were efficient too, they made sure, paper works were minimal and treatment was started sooner, and we left early. Deepika Lakshmi Ruth and Naina The security (Gautham, parking staff) were helpful too. Every single cleaning staffs were really nice, they came in with always a sense of optimism, saying ‘ sir, this is nothing, don’t worry’. which really helped. At least refreshing. Which is probably the only thing that the patient wants to hear, how much ever a lie it could be :) Deena was the coordinator, who was dropping by time to time to check with us. We knew who to contact in case of trouble. We also briefly interacted with pharmacologist too, he was explaining the pharmacology side of things too. Everyone in the hospital speaks cancer language, even the people in admin speaks are so familiar about drugs, that’s slightly an advantage of coming to HCG I felt. Of course staffs in MSW Madhusudhan and one more lady were nice too

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the discharge and billing process following. My father, receiving chemotherapy treatment from past 3 months at your facility. The Admission Staff was efficient and professional. The Nursing Staff providing the chemotherapy care was attentive. However, the discharge and billing procedures resulted in an unacceptable waste of time. The chemotherapy treatment was completed at approximately 2.30PM. Despite the treatment being finished, we were forced to wait approximately three and half hours for the final bill to be generated and processed, preventing our timely discharge. We did not leave the hospital until 6:30 PM. This unnecessary delay significantly prolonged an already stressful day and led to the feeling that our entire day was wasted waiting for administrative work.

The radiation oncology team provided outstanding cancer care throughout my treatment. The doctors were highly knowledgeable and explained every step clearly and patiently. The treatment plan felt personalized and carefully designed for my condition. Modern equipment and advanced technology gave me confidence in the quality of care. Side effects were well managed, and support was always available when needed. Nurses and staff were compassionate, respectful, and professional at all times. Appointments were well organized and ran smoothly. I felt safe, supported, and truly cared for during the entire process. The team treated me with dignity and genuine concern. I highly recommend this radiation center to anyone needing cancer treatment.
