I am Girish, a 51-year-old software professional from Bangalore. For some time, I had been experiencing discomfort in my right eye, so I visited Karthik Netralaya for an evaluation. After the initial investigations, the doctor informed me that I had developed an anterior subcapsular and cortical cataract in the central area, which was affecting my vision. I was given the option to either proceed with cataract extraction with IOL implantation or wait and manage it temporarily with spectacles. After discussions with my family and a doctor friend, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Raveendra performed the procedure on my right eye and implanted a toric trifocal lens. I sincerely thank Dr. Raveendra and his team for their kind cooperation and the excellent care they provided. The surgery was painless, the diagnosis was clear, and the guidance at every step was very reassuring. The hospital is well equipped with modern instruments and supported by experienced doctors and staff members.
